So, how does Bellew stack up against the other Crusiers?

Tony 'the Bummer' Bellend isn't even in the top 3 cruiserweights in the world.

And bear in mind it's probably the weakest division out there.

He was proper pumped up after beating another padded import no-one had ever even heard of, giving one of the most cringeworthy post-fight interviews you're ever likely to see, especially if you know anything about the division.

Look how hard he and Sky are hitting the Haye fight hype now - every day a new article on Sky Sports about their 'spat' - absolutely desperate to take some money from the casual fan's bank accounts before he can't dodge one of the top 3 or 4 any longer and loses his belt.

    Boxing sure has its downsides...

Your terrible spelling and grammar aside, what the f**k does this have to do with anything? This is boxing, not 'you have a free shot, I have a free shot'.

Sorry mate I didn't realise you had to have to have an A level in grammar to post on these forums. And as for my opinion, it's different to yours. Does that mean you have to try and give me abuse over the Internet? Everyone writes Bellew off against masternak, he wins. Everyone writes him off against makabu, he wins. He will always be written off because he speaks his mind and wears his heart on his sleeve and people don't like that. I do, I love it and I rate Tony Bellew as the best CW in the world. That's my opinion. Let me have it.

I can't believe people actually think Bellew is now the best 200lber in the world. He's already trying to do a Khan and go up a weight to face a superior fighter for a payday with an excuse for the inevitable KO loss built in.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion but it won't make it any less funny when he gets his big mouth shut by top drawer opposition.

Well it's a written forum so if you want to get your point across and enhance the weight of your opinion by seeming educated to a decent standard, it's probably best to give spelling and grammar some thought, yeah?

And everything else you just posted has no bearing on your answer to the simple yes/no question you were asked: does Bellew beat Usyk?

Your answer was "if any cruiserweight allows Bellew to punch them clean on the chin they will go down" which seems like you're saying this makes Bellew the best cruiserweight in the world and is the foundation of your reasoning that he would beat Usyk. Which is, of course, utterly ridiculous.

Think of it like this: if Earnie Shavers hit anyone in the world on the chin they would also go down - was he unbeaten, undisputed heavyweight champ for his whole career?

Allow me to answer that. No Bellew doesn't win or want to go near that fight imo.

However Bellew has had no respect for winning the title, work gone in ect.

He maybe limited but a big heart goes a long way, oh and he is world champion, lets back off the lad an actually applaud him

Bellew's win over Makabu was brilliant, I'm not taking anything away from that performance, especially since he came off the canvas.

But remember, Makabu was KO'd in the first round of his debut. For all we know, he has weak punch resistance. Tony has had many fights where he hasn't been able to budge his opponent. He didn't even look close to landing a KD punch against Cleverly and for the final third of that fight, with Bellew as a Cruiserweight and Cleverly as a gassed blown up Light Heavyweight, Bellew still couldn't hurt him.

He has yet to proven that he has the level of power at Cruiserweight that you are suggesting.

As for the Usyk discussion, bro, you need to see more of Usyk because I don't think you understand how good he is.

Aside from Donaire, Rigondeaux has a pretty ordinary resume. But we are not going to deny his sublime talent. Just because Usyk hasn't fought anyone noteworthy, it doesn't mean he isn't the best in the division.

Even Bellew said Makabu's best win was the Johnson bout, and yet when he beats Makabu, suddenly he is the best in the world. Now Bellew is hyping the Haye fight with his usual ' i am going to put him to sleep' speech, the same speech he gave before the Cleverly II fight which stunk the place out and Sky buried as quickly as they could. Bellew should never be allowed to headline a PPV card again, and as Bellew himself would say 'that's a fact!'

That was shameful on Tony's part, and he blatantly said he's not travelling. Shameful stuff, really.

I like Tony, always have done, but he's out of his depth in that division.
