:roflatsch Amateur records have no bearing on the pro game. Are you two just going to re-write the rules of boxing because you don't like it? If you're then you have no credibility and can't be taken seriously. It doesn't work like that. PBF's pro record is all that matters when discussing his pro career. Look at his pro record it's 49-0 not 138-6.:deal
Lomachenko's more offensive minded and Void is defensive which is true. Flo need to accept it an move on. It just means Lomachenko is more warrior than Void.
Lomachenko isn't getting better. He's been this skilled from the beginning. And he beats Mayweather. :rofl
Lomo has promise and potential to be mentioned in the same breathe as Floyd. He's no where near Floyd in terms of accomplishments as a prize fighter but he has the foundation necessary to reach the upper echelon that Floyd resided at since winning his very first world title against Hernandez after only 17 fights and only being 21 or 22 years of age. Many people are talking about Lomo at this stage of his career like he's already accomplished greatness when that's just not the case. As an AM standout on a global scale he most certainly was great.....but AM and pro are very different so we just have to wait and see what Lomo does over the next few years to really determine where his career can go. At present he's on an accelerated path to boxing greatness...he just has to keep winning and lock down key fights
If talking pro careers then of course Mayweather > GGG by 10 thousand miles. But a boxing career is not necessarily just a pro career. Who is anyone to argue what Lomachenko did in ams, for boxing, isn't as great as say Canelo's pro career? Besides, after some digging I found out Mayweather had 9 losses (I don't remember the source, but have a look yourself, I'm not even kidding). A pro record is not ultimately all that matters, unless you don't care about the ams..but that's just your own preference, not the objective truth.
Demographic crying to his demographics. I'm expecting people like you to read, ****yse, take notes and then recite them before you sleep at night.
An amateur record won't get you into the HOF or on the ATG list. It won't get you any PPV deals or big money fights. It's your pro record that gets you that, so yeah, pro record is all that matters.
Ams doesn't have to get you in the HOF or ATG list because they are constructs made for professional boxing only (with HOF being awarded to even the likes of Harold Lederman and Sylvester Stallone). That doesn't mean the likes of Teofilo Stevenson, Mario Kindelan, Felix Savon etc. aren't ATG boxers. They just aren't ATG pro boxers. So no, the pro record isn't 'all that matters'. That's your subjective opinion and not objective truth.
LOL Void fans love to dog GGG in threads where Loma is compared but can't handle the same for IV AM records don't count in the pros but a body of work does. 2 Gold medals says a lot.
