Did the 2015 Wladimir have a decline in speed, reflexes since the 2007-2011 version?

Fury hit Wlad with some decent shots, but Wlad did not try to attack until late and won when he did.

I highly doubt Fury can take a flush right hand or hook from Wlad without 1 ) Being hurt, or 2 ) Staying aggressive.

My guess is Fury will be KO'd, floored, or play it very safe once he feels Wlad's power, just like the majority of his opponents in the past.

Wlad only needs to trust his skills and power. Few can take his shots, even at age 40. That much I'm sure of.

I think Fury is a top 3 fighter right now. I'll give Fury credit if he wins over a 40 year old Wlad, but how much credit depends on how much Wlad has left, and how impressively Fury wins.

What you, I and ever sane poster here would agree on is a prime Wlad age 27-36 dusts Fury.

Wlad was always a one dimensional ordinary fighter who was lucky enough to come around when the HW division dried up of talent. But back in the 90s he was KTFO by C level journeymen fighters. Same as his bro Vitali.
    Lost to Byrd lol
and had a face like hamburger in losing to Lewis (Lewis was out of shape and not interested in fighting any longer

    Sad!

I always enjoy reading your posts.

I always respect your opinion. But I'm really not sure those versions of Wlad would definitely have beaten Fury. I think the young gung ho version of Wlad may have done because he was more aggressive and less cautious. But I'm really not sure about the versions of Wlad after the losses. He was very cautious from that point and I think Tyson could always have gotten in to his head.

He's 40 years old. Of course he declined in speed and reflexes.

Fury troubles any version of Wlad, with his reach, movement, and feints.

Are you really going to say he lost to Byrd?

That would be like saying Montell Griffin beat Roy Jones.

    Hardly conclusive.

Regarding Lewis, he wasn't that out of shape and he'd spoke of maybe having another 2-3 fights afterwards.
