Jumping the gun a bit there aren't you? Forget the WBO for a minute. How many belt holders are there? OK then... But Wlad is the best around at the moment, and seems to conduct himself extremley well in and out of the ring. And he'll stop Thomson by 7. Easy.
Definitely want Wladimir to win. :bbb Hopefully by KO, but Thompson is no pushover. It could be a difficult fight.
I predict a KO win by Wladimir. Thompson is way to slow. And of course I am rooting for him. Watched the Klitschkos from the beginning of their pro reign, the ups and downs. From hero to zero to hero. A true champion in my eyes.
Wlad has impressed me by ignoring the criticism and rolling right along, finding and beating the best competion he can, avenging a defeat, unifying two belts, and facing his mandatories. Even the Brock fight was an impressive choice. Look at the shitty voluntaries we have seen: Skelton, Okhello, Holyfield, and now Audley. Picking a guy who was highly ranked by all organizations was gutsy. SO I am going to say that I hope the Wlad train rolls right along, althouhg I like Thomson just fine and would be glad for him if he won.
Klitschko should dispach this guy pretty early. once Wlad survies the first round it will be easy pickings.
Having a totally mediocre contender like Thompson win over Klitschko and take 2 of the 4 belts will not do the sport good. It would bring the heavyweight division even further down in the bad state it has been in. It would also work to make it less certain who the real champion was. Thompson would probably not be able to be a dominant or long reigning champion and would make the division look bad. What we need is dominant and impressive champions and contenders. With Wlad having 2 belts and dominating and with new talent like Povetkin, Haye and Solis rising in the ranks, the division may regain some of it´s glamour. Constant title switches between so and so fighters will not.
Klitschko is going to lose again and I think it will be to someone we least expect. I think Thompson if he has a chin and can make it past the 6th round has a shot. I think Wlad would steamroll Povetkin. In my opinion Thompson has a much better shot at Wlad than Povetkin does.
