Not really.

A ton of Olympic Weightlifters from the 2008 Olympics have just been banned due to their samples being re-tested and found with PEDS in them.

Samples get re-tested all the time, regardless of age.

 

The story is not that they were re-tested recently.
The story is that Tyson and Hughie already attended a meeting with UK anti-doping last September and were asked about it.
But the story is a bit vague, and leaves more questions than answers.

 

I agree.
The intrigues surrounding the anti-doping agencies, the testing processes and the announcements are becoming a bigger danger to sports integrity than the actual use of PEDs.

 

Seems like a set up to me.

I knew it was coming.

It doesn't surprise me that the news is only coming out now.Look at the confusion and farce surrounding Tony Thompson's positive test. Uk anti-doping is pathetic. Probably that kind of incompetence that Fury was betting on to avoid testing....unfortunately for him he lost the bet :rofl

For Hughie to also test positive for the same substance virtually guarantees his guilt. Cya in a couple of years Dyson ! :hey

 

Drug testing in sports is an absolute farce

We are expected to believe that Fury has used PED's yet the likes of AJ, Haye and the Klitschko's haven't?
The majority of top level athletes are doping and you would be very naive to believe otherwise

 

Agreed...what I find funny is aj spouts about drug cheats should be banned the day before his fight...then 10 mins after his fight fury supposed drug scandal comes out....eddie hearn and the top dogs in the world have something to do with this

Hughie and them big ol pimples in his back was a bit of a giveaway. Tyson and his mood swings and prematurely balding bonce was also a bit of a five away.
When does a pro boxer start down this road?, Hughie for example is young what about AJ? Pre Olympics?
