All the people who say Thurman won, in all likelihood were rooting against Porter because Porter committed the cardinal sin, he was hyped up by American fans as the next big thing and everyone said he'd brutally KO that "hypejob" Brook, well he didn't, so they collectively turned their back on Porter like most of us American fans do with everybody, winning means everything to us, the moment you lose especially to a Euro you're a piece of **** who isn't worth a damn, threated almost like a traitor, and since most of them hate Brook because he's British and love Thurman because he's an American regardless of how ridiculously hard to score the match was and how an argument could easily be made that Porter won, (because he did) they're going to say Thurman beat his ass decisively to have a leg up in the Brook vs. Thurman argument.

But that still doesn't change the fact that Brook beat Porter far more decisively than Thurman did, because there is no argument that can be made that Brook didn't win, which can't be said for Run Time.

I had Porter up early actually but Thurman managing to pull it back toward the end. 115-113 Thurman on my card but if that had been for Porter instead I would have been cool with that. great fight

I had porter winning through workrate too.

Yes keith landed some good counters and had him clearly winning rounds 11 and 12. But most of the fight porter was backing him up, showing greater aggression, where thurman was happy to run around on his bike Amir Khan style and rope a dope on the ropes waiting for openings.

Look at the state of keith's face compared to Porter and that should tell you who done the greater damage

Threads like this kill me. I thought Porter did more, but Thurman easily landed the better punches. It comes down to what the judges preferred. Close fight, but certainly not a robbery.

No.... Maidana actually outlanded Floyd. Porter did land as much as Maidana did, but Thurman landed a lot of great shots on Porter, whereas Floyd landed very little on Maidana.

I also thought Maidana outpointed Floyd in their first fight, but I scored it for Thurman last night.
