    Yeah that ain't happening, you have to be cautious against a fighter as quick as Parker and even if Joshua can get to Parker often and early, Parker's chin is good enough to take him beyond the early rounds.

    Whyte and Breazeale both get blasted out by Parker. Did you see how bad Whyte was vs a Euro bum last night? Let's not forget he had Femi on Bambi on ice rink legs.

    No missed the Whyte fight, but I don't need to see it, I never rated him that highly anyway. Parker would run through him and blitz him with his combo's.

    I think Breazeale showed he was durable enough to not get taken out early by Parker. But you never know, Parker's speed can result in him landing shots he wouldn't see coming unlike with Joshua.

    Whyte would left hook Parker unconscious.

    He said that's one of the easiest fights out there for him on the Sky Sports panel . He also talked about his defensive flaws and was bang on with everything he said.

    Tackam shut down mentally and thats the only reason Parker won it. A fight with AJ wouldn't even be remotely competitive.

    The euthanasia line is going to build quickly.

    Brit logic is so amazing - AJ has taken 7 rounds to put away a couple of the very few top 20-40 guys he's fought and one of them rocked him badly and their stocks rise, Parker takes 12 rounds to beat a top ten (top 15 at worst) and the top ten guy's stocks drop despite showing up in his best shape of his career and showing epic warrior mentality through the fight.

    The ironic thing is these guys have been saying Parker is going to get beaten for ages and he's still winning, I expect the Brit posts to become more and more scathing as the need to deny the threat becomes bigger and bigger.

    Unfortunately if Femi gets clipped by one of those shots he's never had to face before and ends up in huge trouble - your normal logic falls apart. Do you suddenly decide AJ is a bum like all the other guys Parker has beat, or does Parker actually get some credit?

    Little known fact Victor Bisbal a journeyman dropped Breazeale hard according to spectators on Twitter in the first round of their match, Mansour leveled him in their match, yet AJ took 7 rounds to drop him.

    Me thinks AJ's power is vastly overrated.

    I am from Parker-land, yet I admit that Joshua looked good vs. Brezeale.

    Never even looked troubled for a second. A very dominant showing.

    Parker will be a different story, but even so AJ is a very scary prospect.

    Maybe Parker's team can see a hole in AJ's game that they can exploit. Otherwise... hmmm.

    A top matchup.

    Going with Parker. I don't like Joshua's chin and Parker can crack.

    Yeah we're on the same page. Joshua did nothing wrong, was a great dominant fight - though I did see things which I am assuming Team Wilder and Team Parker have spotted and given them a bit of a taste of blood, but the way I see it is the weaknesses are relative.

    Joshua actually has got himself very well rounded and the "weaknesses" are relative and come among some very very dangerous strengths, its one thing identifying it and it's another thing being able to exploit it - let alone exploit it enough to create a win out of it. I definitely saw things which Parker does better than Joshua now, though which was nice but not enough to make me feel at all confident.

    I see this as a fight that Parker has a chance to win but the odds are really that the best outcome right now would be him possibly taking AJ into some new places

    Could you enlighten me what you mean by these weaknesses and why you think Parker could win? I am asking an honest question and not been a d ick

    For one, I think Parker may have better all round speed. Very athletic for a big man.

    AJ really has never been tested by a guy with skill who can bang. He will get that test now.

    I'm going to sit on them and maybe watch the fight again to be sure as at the time there is a bit going on - I want to make sure it's fully fair assessment and it's come out Joshua had a virus during the camp so may or may not have been 100% prepared for it so it may not have been a full force example of AJ, same kind of thing as with Parker dealing with an injury in Takam's fight where he also may not have given the best possible account of himself.

    Without being too specific, and holding in mind that I need to revisit to make sure - watch *any* of Joshuas of fights right up to this one and pay careful attention to how he deals with the "messy" bits where the guys aren't standing at range and circling, firing shots. I'm talking more about close to ropes or corners, where heads and bodies are close to each other and visibility is less and long reach is less of an advantage.

    Perhaps watch AJ's last fight where someone stands their ground and block some of his punches while he's advancing them to a corner, or vice versa and then watch a recent fight were Parker or even Deontay Wilder end up in a similar situation with close exchanges.

    The reality is that the higher up in opponents he gets, the "messier" some of his fights are going to get as people are going to look to negate some of his ability to use explosive power and range and get into some of the energy (physical and mental fitness) sapping clinches/against the ropes fighting. Joshua is unlikely to be beaten by someone standing in the middle of the ring trading punches like in a Rocky movie, people seem to assume Parker will try and do that. AJ is one of the biggest and most powerful boxers in the world, people are going to try and drag him closer to their level and beat him with experience/grit in that situation - or at least improve their odds.

    How Parker could win? I realise you aren't intending that as a d 1ck question, perhaps..? Do you mean specifically or are you suggesting it's impossible to beat Joshua?

    Lets be clear, he's a human. Made of the same stuff arranged in a similar way to you and me - well timed flush temple and jaw shots from a hard hitter (or not even THAT hard a hitter) can change a game in an instant. Joshua has been knocked out, Parker hasn't. Parker has been against a top ten fighter, has gone 12 rounds, knows how to survive and is faster, more accurate and a better fighter than anyone Joshua has been against in the pros, Parker does not give up and DOES know how to win.

    It doesn't take much logic to work out Parker can beat a top heavyweight, he has the bits there to make it possible to beat ANY heavyweight - no matter how remote the chance is, getting in the ring with a top 20 heavyweight is a legitimate risk for Joshua... or ANY heavyweight for that matter.

    Joshua's win was good, but bare in mind Breazeale's last fight was against Amir Mansour who is 6ft 1, had previously lost against Steve Cunningham, and by the 5th round had a more decisive lead over Breazeale than Joshua did before Mansour bit the end of his tongue off due to not having a complete mouthpiece and the fight being ended, it working out in Breazeale's favour because regardless of the cause Mansour couldn't continue. Things can go all wrong for anyone, at any time in this game.

    The reason i said i am not trying to be a d ick, is because some people get there backs up straight away if ask a question and they don't like having a debate. Glad you are not like that.

    From what i get from your response, is that Joshua struggles when somebody is on the inside and he can't control the distance? Correct me if i am wrong.

    Of course everyone has a chance but sadly i give Parker just a punchers chance as i have not seen anything from him to give me confidence (i will get to that later) unless he has facets of his game which he has not shown.

    Anyone with a reach and height disadvantage is going to struggle big time against Joshua, like you said, you are not going to beat him from the outside (unless you are fury's size - which i think at this stage Fury beats him). Parker is not tall in todays game and has a very short reach for a man his size ‎76″ (parker) compared to 82″ Joshua) .

    However, i see Joshua as beatable if you can get on the inside and smother his work, essentially negate his physical advantages, i believe Joshua's inside game is very poor (likewise, he might not have shown it as he has rarely had to use it). But and this is a massive but, there is nothing i have seen from Parker to make me believe he can get on the inside because he has slow feet and poor head movement.

    Parker may have quicker hands but do not underestimate Joshua's reflexes and hand speed. As i previously said Joshua has good foot speed and it is better than Parker's. The foot speed will allow the control of distance i.e. Mayweather vs Pac. Pacman was bamboozled with the foot speed albeit having the quicket hands.

    In summary:

    - Not going to beat Joshua from the outside unless you have a longer reach and height advantage;
    - If you have a shorter reach and height, your best chance is to get on the inside;
    - Parker has not shown me anything in his short career where he can do this without getting caught on the way in (slow feet and no head movement);
    - Hand speed will not have much effect on the fight as foot speed is the key;
    - Joshua's power is ridiculous, people will say it is over rated because of the latest fight, but you can see the affect he has on people. Brezeale came to try and absorb it and take him into deep water.

    Don't get me wrong i dont think Joshua is all that. He has holes in his punch variety and ring IQ. But i think Parker physically does not have it.

    I wrote this quickly on my lunch, but feel free to discuss, as there may be something i have not see.
