No, prime Joe C vs Prime RJJ is a mismatch in Roy's favor.

Man didnt lose till he was 36 and people act like he had no chin and sucked all along.

I never saw Robinson in person, only on film, but in my lifetime RJJ is the greatest ive seen, and that includes Hagler, SRL and Duran. He was incredible.

Serious boxing experts at the time were discussing if he was best ever, and honestly speculating he could beat Tyson.

Are we talking a PED free Roy Jones? Was there ever a PED free Roy Jones?
We don't know, what we do know is that he tested dirty.

He will always has a cloud over him in my mind.

He was fantastic in the olympics where testing is really serious.

RJJ was excellent. But the best ever? That is debatable. There are lots of other guys you can make a case for.

Yea just my opinion. At his peak I don't think I've ever seen anyone as good. His talent was unmatched. He made 2 hof fighters look like they didn't belong in the ring with him

"I'm not chasing Roy Jones" nodded a grinning prime Joe Cal in disagreement

There isn't a fighter in history that could beat the Jones that showed up in the Griffin rematch.

Roy 's greatness was brought down by the Magic Man.

Was Roy clean then? Serious question, how do we know, there has to be a cloud over him and every achievement now.

Why are Amercian fighters given a huge pass when it comes to testing dirty?

It's like it never happened, It's like it didn't count :huh

    Im not so sure.

Look at the gifts, reflexes and skills of prime fighters like -
    Maske
    Michalczewski
    Calzaghe
    Erdei
    Ottke
    Eubank

    To name a few

At LHW I would have favoured Michalczewski, Erdei, Calzaghe, Maske
