It's going to be a fun fight. I doubt Golovkin is going to be as cautious as he was with Lemieux, I dont think eubank jr has that kind of power, but I do think he's more durable. I can see being as competitive as the Stevens fight with Eubank landing some huge shots.
His lone loss came in his only lone fight against a world level opponent. He has talent no doubt but he has yet to beat anyone above British/European level.
eubank is a very good fighter his only loss was to saunders and that was a split UD and he gave the fight to him because of lack of experiance one thing for sure is he is very durable and is young and wants to PROVE something that in itself is dangerous GGG might bring the best out of him
I get people making to want that call but I'm yet to see someone be able to logically explain why in a convincing manner. All I seem to hear is "he's hungry/young and has fast hands". It's boxing, we can't rule anything out but I just don't see it at all. GGG can start slow as he feels people out so maybe he'll have some early success but that's all
would erol spence beat pauli or victor ortiz but but erol has not fought anyone? Yes eubank has not fought many elite fighters but that doesnt mean he is not the goods his fights with blackwell,spike/chudi prove he is for sure at world class level you just dont dominate those guys like that
I can spend all day convincing the non believers why Eubank JR will win. But instead of going in circles I will just say he WILL win. I will place a reasonable low four figure bet on it too.
I'm not really sure what you're getting at or how this relates to what I said. If you think he beats GGG, that's cool. But please explain to me why, that's all I'm asking. And beating Spike/Blackwell/Chudinov proves he is above domestic level, little else. I didn't find the Spike win all that impressive anyway, Spike hurt him a couple of times because of his carefree style. Not the Chudinov one either really. He's a plodder who he teed off on all night and couldn't hurt. Had that win been over his brother then yeah, I would have been very impressed.
Firstly how has Bllowjob Saunders proved he is world level? Secondly how does losing to someone World level, but not beating anyone else world level, make you world level? Surely you need to BEAT someone world level to be considered world level? I would lose to Saunders in the ring tomorrow but it don't make me world level.
He has couple of good wins that makes me think he is above domestic level. He has a good engine, good hand speed, good chin and he has above average power. He is also rated top 10. I rank him top 5; GGG Lemieux Saunders Jacobs Eubank jr. That said, I don´t see him last more than max 8 rds.
All kinds of posters here coming out of the woodwork claiming the next savior for the anti-Golovkin gang, until he gets beaten to a bloody pulp like the rest. Then he was just "another bum" again.
