Both are undefeated, neither has been seriously knocked down. Brook won't go down without a fight, and has a serious speed/agility advantage over Golovkin. He also has good power himself and the extra weight won't hinder that fact.
This is an undefeated welterweight champion, against an undefeated middleweight champ, both are number 1 at their weights. It's a superfight, it's Canelo vs Khan on steroids.

Is this a "GGG isn't a fraud" thread in disguise?

It is just as bad as Canelo vs Khan. There is only ever guna be one winner. No doubt Hearn had serious doubts about the Eubank fight, mainly cuz of his father, so had a back up plan just in case. All fair enough, cant blame Hearn but its not an inspiring fight.

Khan had already been KO'd several times, we all knew what was going to happen, it was just a matter of when.

I genuinely believe Brook beats Canelo at 154, it might not be the fight everyone wants but to me, it's a better more competitive fight in the ring.

I think like Canelo-Khan, how bad a fight it is depends on what occurs in the actual fight. On paper though Brook doesn't have as many glaring flaws as Khan and is in the top 2 at welterweight, while Khan wasn't in the top 5 imo. I prefer this fight to guys like Heiland and Tureano, but not Lara.

I agree, I think this fight can be very competitive. Lots of people are making comparisons to the Canelo Khan fight but its a totally different fight as Brooks chin isn't made of glass like Khan for one thing, plus Brook carries far more power than Khan and let's not forget that Brook is huge WW anyway unlike Khan.

It's obviously better than Khanelo. And tbh I prefer it to the prospect of Johnson or Heiland. But it is disappointing.

    No it´s a **** fight. A non fight. Just a money grab like Canelo-Khan, and it´s sad.

But for the casual British fan it is a huge fight and the Garcia and Thurmon fights just couldn't get made, they did not want to know at this point, and Brook needed a big fight

This was pretty much the last remaining option for a big PPV fight

Brook is a massive welterweight. And he's had troubles making 147 in the past. Not as bad a fight as many believe.
