Just look at these odds... this isn't normal is it? Surely those should be much wider.
    http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/gennady-golovkin-v-kell-brook/winner

And then I see that over 60% of the betters up till now went with Brook, even at these odds, thats even weirder :nut

What do you think the odds should be and would you put some money on Brook with these odds that look so damn fine for the Golovkin betters out there?

You can get 6/1 on Brook to win which sounds about right to me. I think British fans are putting money on Kell in hope rather than expectation.

I like the odds brook has a fair chance imo, good money to be made on him.

He's moving up two weights to fight not only the best p4p fighter in the world but also the p4p hardest puncher on the planet......and people are actually backing brook to beat him loooooool

At this odds you'd be silly to back anyone other than Brook. Kell is the best boxer golovkin has faced by a mile.

Brooks odds will contract when it becomes more apparent that there isn't much between them.

He hasn't faced anyone of any note. You can't say he's the either p4p boxer or hardest pincher. Literally based on nothing.

Brook is an absolutely top class fighter - and he still has gears to go.

Middleweight will probably suit him better because it compliments his style more. He likes to control pace, pick his shots, and that gets somewhat offset by maniacal welters like Porter with high volume.

A fight that seems crazy initially but I think Brook matches up well against him on further inspection. Still be massive ask though.

Seriously?! A welter who's best win was another top10 welter, is somehow better as the 9 other top10 middleweights on his resume?

I like GGG, but pease explain how you rate him at #1 P4P, when his best opponents so far have been Stevens, Rosado, Murray, and Lemieux?

If anything, Golovkin will end up a 1/10 to 1/14 betting favourite by the time of the fight. As already stated here, the only people likely to be backing Brook will be British casual fans, or fans of Kell Brook who will be backing Kell in hope rather than expectation. (Which is the same reasoning a lot of Welsh boxing fans used in betting on Steve Robinson to beat Naseem Named when those two fought.)

Even Willie Monroe Jr would easily outpoint Brook at MW.

I think Brook needs a career best performance to beat GGG. Anything less and he's getting beat in my opinion

I hope the odds for ggg increase to 1/5. Ggg will win this quite easily

Main thing is Brook has the tools to test GGG better than the guys he's fought previously as he brings more problems mainly counter punching, footwork and jab which are all world class. Do I think Kell wins ? Properly not but I do think he's the only person GGG has fought who will win rounds against him and make him think instead of just being able to walking up and sit on their chest.
