Mayweather or Pacquaio ever fought someone as dangerous as who kell is fighting?

I'm sure you're aware of Barreras victories over Morales and Hamed. Which happened in the early 2000s. Right between the Pacquiao fight.

And yes the fight was 13 years ago so maybe your memory is a little hazy. But Barrera was held in extreme regard in 2003. Nobody gave Pacquiao a chance. Even Filipinos said Barrera was too good, too big for Pacquaio.

Yes, Pacquiao fighting Cotto, Margarito. They were elite fighters and Pacquiao was severely undersized.

Mayweather...no. He hasn't dared to be great.

Not even close. At 160 GGG would likely clean out Pac and Mayweather in the same night. It's just crazy that Brook is going to march in there at full weight against the best MW of the last decade without a catchweight, nada. He's got steel bals.

The vast majority of the boxing world gave Pacquiao virtually no shot to beat De la Hoya and predicted that he'd get KTFO'd.

Canelo is the size of GGG. He was a teen at 140.

Ggg hasn't fought fighters at the level where Canelo and Cotto failed. He hasn't even fought fighters at the level where they succeeded.

Those fighters voted with their feet, opting for the door rather than face GGG. That tells me all I need to know:hey

This thread is dumb. You ask people a question and then call them wrong when you get an answer.

Pac fought Barrera AND De La Hoya. It is very much comparable, if not more impressive on Pacquiaos end. Who the **** has GGG fought compared to Barrera and ODLH records?

Mayweather and Pacquiao fought proven hof quality legends in almost every division.

Golovkin has never beaten an elite fighter or even a guy most people consider above average so I would say they have fought wayu tougher opponents.
The fact that Kell Brook an unproven WW would be the best guy on GGGs resume should tell you that.

still does not change that Golovkin would knock them out with a jab

Not exactly GGG is beating up bums, and Mayweather spars MWs and bigger. Let's see GGG with an actual opponent and then judge hell I'd pick Floyd from the Cotto or Canelo fights over GGG too slow not enough skills.

There's not a lot of courage when there's a lot of money being made. Kell only gets credit if he rises to the occasion.
