Have the bookies and betters gone insane on GGG vs Kell?

The british fans don't know who Golovkin is.

This is similar to Mayweather - Hatton where the british bet drove the odds to near 50-50.

6-1 starting odds for Brook is alright imo.

I'm no brook fan, started to really dislike him lately due to the opponent selection. But part of me feels he has a good chance here. I'm not sold that GGG is this invincible monster. PFP I think Floyd would make easy work of him even with the weight difference, now at 40 I think Floyd would UD him. GGG is not the fastest of fighters and he is 34 now so maybe the timing is right.

2 things tho, Kell/match room had no available opponents to really take other than moving up. What happened to playing by IBF rules? Unify or mandatory? They played that card for 2 years yet now it's irrelevant. Shows they were cashing in on those dodgy PPVs.

Also GGG should be slated for this opponent choice. He is a brilliant fighter no doubt about it but he has called out 147 fighters all of his career! Cotto,Floyd,Pac,Canelo and now fights Brook. The guy gets a pass every time as he is "the next Hagler" apparently. He never chased Froch,Ward,Degale etc.

I thing GGG beats Brook, Brook looks great wailing on bums and I feel his 36 fights against no marks will be his down fall. He has the tools yet never challenged himself.

If brook does the run and hold he did against porter he could have a slight chance, honestly think an 9-3 points loss is basically a win for him

Hopefully the British casuals continue to lump money on Kell, means I get more back on GGG!

    Another really odd fight.

Dimensions wise there isnt much in it but GGG is a proven massive punching middleweight.

Is Kell the 2nd biggest puncher GGG has faced? Hes going to need to be to keep GGG off him. He didnt always manage it v porter or jones and ggg's pressure is a lot more calculated and at the end of it delivers huge power

I need to address some of this.
Cotto and Canelo were called out when they held world titles at 160 which they were mandated to fight GGG for.
I don't remember him calling out Pac.
For Floyd he said he'd come to down to 154 for, where Floyd was technically world champion (though was never going to fight there again).
He chased Ward and Ward retired (not because of GGG imo but that's what happened)
He hasn't chased Degale but so?
The Ward thing is complex and only creates ugly arguments on these boards. From what I can tell, I think GGG and Ward would have been happy to fight. I don't think GGG's team wanted the Ward fight though as they think he would have lost at 168 (as do I)

Yeh mate the p4p tag is questionable, but in terms of facing 'anyone of any note', who has brook faced of note two weights below?

Golovkin has destroyed a lot of decent opponents who are actual middleweights just think this fight is mad
