The first chunky left hook Kell Brook feels has him in retreat mode all night until 9th round TKO by Trinidad.
I honestly don't think Brook sees the 9th. I reckon Trinidad finishes him in around the same time or less as it took him to stop Joppy. :smoke
His wraps were not loaded like Cheato's was. The thing about Tito's wraps was he was putting tape on the skin, then gauze then more tape. That's an illegal method of wrapping, also known as "STACKING". Margarito just had plaster of Paris in his wraps, the dang fraud.
Brooks style would pose Trinidad some major problems at any weight, because of his effectiveness to hit and hold. He's got some pretty good skills too, but from everything I've seen with Tito from 147-160 he gets frustrated against movers who can punch a little and tie up effectively. That said, All it takes is one shot from Tito to put you on ***** street, and I've seen Brook down and shaken up pretty bad so if I was a betting man I'd put the house on Tito to win by late TKO.
You have to ask yourself is Kell more dangerous than a prime 154lbs Fernando Vargas? I agree Kell seems like a smart guy with excellent tools but it took some extraordinary fighters to nullify Tito's explosive offense. While I believe Brook dominated most of the Porter fight he did get into some exchanges where Porter was able to land, frustrate and penetrate Brooks guard. Switch the players and Brook gets overwhelmed and starched late in a fight he is possibly winning on points.
