Kovalev Chilemba bad numbers

I'll also add that MLB had their Home Run Derby on tonight, which probably eliminated a significant faction of US sports fans. That and it being a tape delayed Monday night broadcast, I don't think they were expecting much. Even their production quality was subpar, audio mix wise. And the camera work was also very shabby, because HBO had nothing to do with the production. I think they were just broadcasting this as a formality, much like Ward-Brand, and then the weeks leading up to Kovalev-Ward, I would think they will show re-runs of fights like these, and other fairly recent HBO Ward and Kova performances.

 

I don't think HBO had any control over the camera work, Farmy. That's why it was bad, but there's no excuse for the subpar audio, but they have a tendency to let that happen when they don't have full control over the broadcast.

In the beginning of every round, whoever was operating the swooping crane shots that usually start rounds - well that person was doing a terrible job, and it made me appreciate how on point the timing usually is with that move when HBO operates the cameras.
