Stevenson taking a very dangerous fight this month

    Thomas Williams Jr has a very good punchers chance here. It's not exactly a secret that Stevenson is more than suspect in the chin department, and with his style and age it's almost possible that he gets old over night. Definitely favor Stevenson here.. But gamblers might want to take a look at this one. Thoughts?

    I think it's more likely an upset will occur here than Arreola/Wilder for what it's worth.

    It's going to be a shoot out. Can definitely see them trading knockdowns here before the inevitable knockout comes. Don't blink and have your beer/food ready before this one starts! :lol:

    Everytime people suggest Stevenson has a fragile chin, I'm convinced they didn't see the Boone fight, Stevenson has took big shots since then. He doesn't have an iron chin but he has took punishment. Add to that the fact that Stevenson is a monster puncher and athlete himself, more fluid than Williams, and Williams can also be hurt. I'd say Stevenson has proven already he can perform on a higher level and runs Williams over

    Stevenson needs to be very careful with this guy. I see it as a 80/20 kind of fight for Stevenson but Williams is reckless fighter willing to trade bombs.

    The biggest shock will be if this fight lasts more than a couple rounds.

    stevenson could also be rusty. he's fought twice in the past two years. if he wins this, don't expect him in a ring again, until next summer.

    I wish Stevenson would fight Kovalev. He has the style and power to knock him out.

    The guy he's fighting is a sloppy caveman.

    Not that good, but competent and very dangerous despite his flaws. Stevenson could lose this one if he isn't careful.

    oh...for a moment I thought he was granting a rematch to one of the little girls he beat up. they would be pretty mad and stand a good chance of ko'ing the bum.
