At SMW, Toney would win. You must all have forgotten just how good Toney was in his day. Faster hands than Ward. And he was a much better, skilled boxer than Ward ever was, and packed a bigger punch.

I know Toney gets underrated by some because he had some off-nights, even in his prime... those Roy Jones and Tiberi fights really hurt his reputation. This shouldn't be an excuse, but Toney really was an exceptional fighter, Ward might be more consistent but really he is 'only' very good - Toney was something special, although he didn't show it on some nights.

Toney by UD or late TKO. If Toney has an off-night I can see Ward winning a decision.
