Ward did mention one more tuneup fight possibly. I just don't see how Brand will give Ward any work at all...............
I guess not, but it doesn't make sense..................Ward should have fought Stevenson first as a tuneup, much better than Brand, there are some others he could have chosen, and Brand is a 168 lb. fighter as well..............
Ward will have more difficult sparring session in the build up to this fight than the actual fight. Adjusting to the weight? See how his stamina is maybe?
Nothing...just staying sharp. Kovalev didn't learn sh!t from Chilemba either. He will be getting his head flown by Ward's jab too. Kovalev won't be able to shore up his defensive liabilities by November. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
maybe hes just getting use to fighting in front of a crowd again and any rust he possibly has to shake off
What's Stevenson going to teach him? He's a one dimensional southpaw :rofl Brand is to shake off the ring rust and get acclimated to his speed/strength/stamina at the full 175 lbs.
Nothing at all. Just a stay busy fight that will allow him to further establish himself in the 168 lbs division. On the other hand, Kov had a great learning experience vs Chilemba... Let's see if he can implement that against Ward.
Why in the hell would Ward fight Stevenson for a tune up? The same reason why Kovalev didn't fight him as a tune up you dumb son of a *****.
