This should not really be a hard fight for Ward he has all the style to win. Ward should of fought Golovkin who is a all round better fighter.
You know Isaac Chilemba has a difficult style that I believe even Ward would have problems with. I gave Chilemba 3 rounds, so Kovalev still dominated and was even able to drop Chilemba, something no other fight had been able to do. This fight might of just made Kovalev a better fighter having to deal with an opponent who uses lots of movements and angles. I do believe Ward is the more skilled of the two, and I feel Kov is the stronger fighter and harder puncher. Kov can take a shot, and it's very difficult to land a solid shot on Ward. What I did see in the fight against Chilemba, was Kov's ability to land some very good body shots that might of made the difference in that fight. I didn't really hear the HBO crew mention this well placed shots punches except for the one that landed right before Kov dropped Isaac. I give Ward the edge against Kov, just hitting and moving... and hitting and holding... keeping his distance, circling and jabbing and holding some more frustrating Sergei. But if the Krusher can land some of those type of body shots like he did against Chilemba, its going to be a close fight!!!
Andre Ward was always going to win this by wide US, a 118-110 type of score. Glad more are seeing this now.
