No he's made some horrible career choices and has never gotten the best out of his talent.

Fact is in terms of pure athleticism I can't think of another British fighter since perhaps Hamed that was as gifted as Khan. I believe he could have beaten Kindelaan at the Olympics, the first round he boxed and was winning then from the 2nd round he was too aggressive a fault we have seen in him as a pro and he gave the fight to Kindelaan.

Then he turned pro had the rematch with Kindelaan where he boxed for the full fight instead of taking it to Kindelaan and so won. Perfect platform to go pro, he has the pick of the best trainers in the world all wanting to train he and what does he do, he chooses a guy with little to no experience as a boxing coach, what kind of f.uck wit does that?

He had the platform from the Olympics which made him a star in the UK and what does he do, he pi.sses away any love the UK fans could have for him by ruining some poor mans life by driving recklessly only to do the same a few weeks later. His arrogance his inability to connect with the public due to the constant need to try and impress when all he does is come off as fake and stuck up.

Then there is of course the ducking of Brook as well as any other threat while looking for a payday from Floyd and Pac.

Then there is his commitment to the sport. One of the things Hunter said about Khan when he first started training him was that he was surprised how unprofessional Khan was. Between fights Khan didn't train, it was one of the things he tried to change when he got with Khan and at first Khan was receptive to this but he soon fell back into his old ways.

Khan has never gotten the best out of his gifts, if he had, he'd still be undefeated even with that awful chin.

Spot on. Rather support a fighter with half the talent that's giving it 100% that appreciates the support back.

I'm not a fan of any of those boxer but I have to ask

    Khan Former World Champion
    Broner Multi Weight World Champion
    Berto Former World Champion

Arreola never that good in the first place in my opinion but has fought for a world title.

So take the first three fighters, failures? Really? They have actually achieved something in the sport.

Khan is number 1 in this by a mile

The guy has had millions pumped into him.He was a millionaire before he even turned pro. He's had the pick of the worlds best trainers. All the best facilities. He was on Terrestial TV fighting feather fisted featherweights when he was a Lightweight. He's been careful protected and managed his whole career. He has a huge entourage of everything around him.. all the top guys in their fields. The media were desperate for their to be a South Asian star in sport for the milllons of asians in the UK to look up, to finally have one that is successful in sport.. for a race that always seem to fail in sport. Yet he still has failed miserably. there's no excuses... He's had every opportunity a boxer could have to become a great fighter. But all people will remember Khan for is being a joke like Audley Harrison.

    You really need to realise....

Boxing is not like Other Sports

There's 4 or 5 World Champions in every Division.
    There's 17 divisions
There could be over 80 'world champions' at any one time.
Just simply being a 'world champion' is good enough in other sports.. But it is certainly isn't good enough in Boxing.

People get stripped of titles easily, people fight for vacant titles, fighters get shots they don't deserve etc. There's an endless list of fighters who were world champions who were poor and forgetable

Failure is perhaps too strong a word, underachiever would be more accurate as they failed to live up to their potential.

I agree about Arreola, he was never that talented, he just hit pretty hard and had a solid chin.
