Nah I think he'll be a lightweight, best way to compare Ronnie against Cacace was size difference between Limond and nurse, sometimes it's just to much. I believe Cacace would beat Scotty cardle tomorrow. I make no excuses it was a good fight and I enjoyed it but there were certain things that should t have happened. But hey it's boxing

Mick jr vs ronnie has been approved by the bbboc as an eliminator and scottish title fight, lets hope the fight comes off and we can finally see who will win, ronnies strength and experience or mick jr boxing style.

i'll be buying a ticket if it comes off

even with mick jr being a massive ticket seller:rofl:rofl

you sure the scottish title can be fought for in ireland? doesn't sound right to me:good

maybe ronnies new manager will get him a show in dundee with this fight as top of the bill? ronnie has topped bills in dundee before so he must know it will sell:good

Mick isn't a massive seller, anyone could be a seller when there going on the back of Ricky burns in their home city, heard he's pretty average on a small hall show. Mark May bid but it would be in Ireland or maybe Hearn will bid for it and put it on Ricky's undercard? Mgm will bid but my suspicion is they will withdraw.

Ronnie can't come back to Dundee unless he has a local fighter to support it. Always said the same. Ronnie can't fight without Towell on card and Towell can't fight without Ronnie on the card. Been proven by mikey winning purse bids for fights and not being back. Any business man who does it will lose a lot of money. Dundee could do a show but it would take Ronnie, mikey , Paul kean and Jamie Wilson as the two matter havnt built their support yet. I feel sorry for mikey to an extent as Tommy is blowing smoke up his bAckside. I read in the paper mikey talking of the two football stadiums which hold like 12000. Unreal. Mikey is a moneymaker as he brings in sponsorship and he sells basically only vip seats. I hope he is being paid properly and not used. I suspect his fight with Evans will be one of the fights of the year as both walk each other down and meet in the middle. Be class while
It lasts. Just hope mikey comes out on top. If Tommy believes he's gonna fight skeete in Dundee like he keeps putting in the newspaper he's dilusional. He's going to London

i have to agree with most of that post, i agree that mgm will bid but sam kynoch imo won't want to take the chance of losing money if he bids well for it.:good

i agree that if and its a big if, mike towell manages to beat dale evans that he will have to travel to a box nation show for his shot at the title but lets be honest mate if ronnie is to fight for the british then no way in hell will mark manage to outbid the managers of the fighters in the frame to get the fight to ireland so ronnie will be the away fighter when that happens:good

I'm still not convinced that you can fight for the scottish title in ireland:huh:huh wouldnt it need to have scottish officials:good

Totally agree mate, I amnt 100% sure regarding Scottish title but what you say does more than likely seem true. I think that Hearn may be interested in the fight for the undercard as it's an evenly matched fight. We are under no illusions that a British title fight will be on a big show and marks job is to get him the opportunity. Take the right fights at the right time, if I'm honest I don't think it matters where the Roberts jnr fight is. Ronnie will stop him. My opinion based on what iv seen. If I'm wrong fair play. The way this will play out is Roberts jnr saying he's a featherweight and withdraw from the fight.

I don't think Jupp will fight Cache so hopefully we get to see Martin Ward v Cacace before the end of the year.

U not giving townend a chance of beating ward mate. Ward hardly set the world a light with his performances so far.

You know what I'm actually a massive Townend fan and love the way he comes to fight everytime.

I think he is very underrated because he doesn't have a 25-0 resume, but I feel Ward will make it boring and outbox him.

I can see why Mitchell Smith avoided Townend though, he would get stopped.

It's quite interesting actually. I speak to Cacace and he's a nice lad but imo he won't make the weight. Could be wrong but without Shane he'll never do it again. I think that fight won't happen. Ward will beat Townend and be Ward v Jupp. Then you have Maxi Hughes who I Think will fight Ronnie in a final eliminator as Roberts jnr will pull out the purse bids. That's my opinion on how it will go down

Townend was being out boxed by glover before glover started to trade. Townend certainly has power. Stefy bull done a great job turning his career around.

    Agree with smith dodge.
