I enjoyed the Joseph Parker KO earlier today - he said in the ring after the fight that 'there is a big announcement on Tuesday'. Hopefully Tony Dosh will fight him next this year.
It is very sad that it is on such s minority channel. I presume this is just further fallout from the enmity between team Carl and Barry Hearn....very regrettable they can't or won't work together...
This was always going to get picked up by someone- I suspect Boxnation are paying peanuts for this fight.
Cannot imagine being ****d about the profit/loss of a company that has nothing to do with me. I can however be ****d about good fighters being on TV in the UK
Its a dedicated boxing channel If this fight had of been in prime time GMT do u think it would have been on box nation? No chance And tbh if Frampton does the business then will we really remember what channel it was on? One other plus is hopefully we actually get an American broadcast, is it on HBO or Showtime?
Its poor they couldnt sort it out. You would think after the Quigg PPV it would of been easy to sort out. Shame it hasnt been but thats boxing for you. IF Carl wins which is doable a fight with Selby can also be sorted for the end of the year will it be on PPV?? Who knows if it is great but Sky would be more than willing to show it on Sky Sports. I think it will be straight forward deal to sort out even if Matchroom and the ego Eddie Hearn and the banter juice is involved. IF its in Belfast could well have a co main event world title shot for Ryan Burnett. Wishful thinking on my part.
Would Frampton even want to fight on Sky again? They were so baised towards Quigg last time out im sure unless the money was 100% he might not care Selby is with Haymon now and not Hearn?
Did Pro Punter wander into his mother's room to discover fish eyes stretching his mothers ****? Only reason I can think of to have such an illogical hatred towards a channel.
Why is it a shame, do you really want sky to have a monopoly of boxing? They pretty much call the shots with english football, I'd hate to see them allowed to do the same with boxing
