I reckon Santana may be able to win his fight with Benavidez Jr.
Ben jr has not faced anyone of note at the welterweight limit and does not look very mobile on his feet, he could end up swarmed by a plodding Santana who looks solid and always coming forward.
Plus Santana, who has had bouts at 154 lbs, is the biggest guy Benavidez has faced; on paper there is no great height difference, 5'10'' against 5'11'' in favour of Benavidez, who in the past has always banked on the height advantage.

People keep making a big deal about Postol's height and reach advantage, but judging from past fight night weights of the two, Crawford is going have a significant weight advantage in the ring. Despite being a career 140 pounder and being very tall for the division, Postol only weighed 148 on the night against both Aydin and Lucas, that's lighter than Crawford's lowest ever recorded fight night weight when Crawford was campaigning at 135.

Terence Crawford vs Andrey Klimov - contested at Lightweight

    Crawford: 149 - Klimov: 140

Terence Crawford vs Yuriorkis Gamboa - contested at Lightweight

    Crawford: 152 - Gamboa: 145

Terence Crawford vs Raymundo Beltran - Contested at Lightweight

    Crawford: 153 - Beltran: 147

Terence Crawford vs Hank Lundy - contested at Light-welterweight

    Crawford 155 - Lundy 151

IIRC, Crawford and Dierry Jean were both 155 on the night for their fight at 140, too.

Crawford also has the advantages in speed and power and obviously he has home advantage and the referee and 2 of the judges are all American too. :patsch

I think Crawford will likely beat Postol because Postol tends to push his punches out sometimes and Crawford will be able to catch him with his fast, hard and accurate counters when he does so.

exactly its funny seeing these demographic make postol out to be some monster

crawford should really beat him with ease postol is nothing special and his stoppage of lucas was not because he beat him down but because he got lucky lucas heard his eye pop and went blind for a moment there is no fighter that would carry on except if you are crazy like margo lol

I think both Crawford and Postol are very talented and skilled fighters, but I also feel they're both a bit overrated too. Many are hyping Crawford up as the next American big thing and the future of the sport, and whilst I agree he's very good, I don't see him as a Floyd type talent or even close. Love him or loathe him, Floyd is an exceptional talent whereas I don't see Crawford as being exceptional.

If Postol was so easy Danny Garcia wouldn't have ducked him 2-3 times

    Spot on.

Even if Crawford wins I can't see him transcending boxing as a ppv star.

Crawford is naturally a counter puncher, even when he KO's guys its usually because he catches then with a counter when they're coming in, hurts them, and then he aggressively goes for the kill. If his opponent doesn't give him anything to counter it can turn into an incredibly dull affair a la the Klimov fight. Postol isn't going to make any attempt to push the pace and open himself up to anything, he'll settle into a rhythm controlling Crawford with his much longer jab and force Bud to become the aggressor. Postol is not only a counter puncher, but he counter punches in bunches. His hand speed and output is exemplary, and his ability to concentrate while put under pressure is impressive. I don't see Bud being as aggressive as Matthysse here, so it could turn into a chess match with the guy with the longer reach and far better jab nicking the majority of the rounds. And if Crawford does push the pace, Postol will land and land hard, and Crawford was badly hurt by a gassed out of it Gamboa in the 9th and from a short right, so its a legit possibility Postol run of late match KO's continues tonight.

    Postol by KO8

Im not sold on Crawford just yet. He reminds me of a Donaire when nobody thought he could be beat.

He's obviously the real deal if he comes through tonight

I am not buying this fight for a reason.....................Crawford owns the judges, referee, boxing commission, Postal needs a knockout to get a draw................Arum appears to know this............
