I've got no problem with how Crawford fought, but I'm a fan, so maybe I'm biased.

Coasting to a UD from time to time isn't the end of the world. He had Postol figured out after the beginning stages, and Postol never really pushed him to raise his game higher after that. It'd have been nice to see it turned up another gear or two, but overall it was a great performance.

Yeah, it may not have made 2 million new fans for him, but that won't make him any easier to beat, nor will it stop Top Rank from pushing him as one of the new faces of the brand.

There was never a need to go "all out" but if Crawford wants to be one of the stars of the sport he needs to show a bit more killer instinct. Lets not pretend this is a one off either. His fights with Klimov, Prescott and Beltran certainly lacked in terms of excitement.

Sometimes it's just a case of pressing the action a bit more, especially on PPV when you're expecting to make fans come back and pay to see you again.

Postol knew either way he was going to be getting beat after that 5th round, he could go for it and be stopped, or remain cautious and lose. Either way he was losing, and being paid around 1/2 of what Crawford was. He didn't have the speed, style or power to ever change the tide of the bout. Why take a total ass whooping if there's nothing to gain from it and if you mentally know the best you can do is survive?

For Crawford there is something to gain by shining and pressing the action. There's a growing audience and a potential Pacquiao fight (can anyone see Pacquiao going "yummy, theres my next opponent!" after that?). Instead he essentially put those who paid off doing so again, he failed to leave HBO with a highlight reel youtube video that they could use to market with him in the future.

....it was a wasted opportunity against someone who he made look garbage.

It's time for boxing to make a rule for running..

Right now they're benefiting the slicks that run and gun too much.

The ref must take a point off for this ****!

He started backing him up and walking towards Postol and Postol didn't want it. We were screaming **** at Postol because he acted like he wanted to brawl and when he got his chance he punked out.

Postol has 12 ko's. Crawford had him figured out early. After dominating for a few rounds, he should have tried to get him out of there. Crawford missed an opportunity to really set himself apart from the other elite fighters. He failed to do so.

You should stick with Rocky movies then, real life boxing isn't for you.

If bud went for the ko in mid rds postol was dangerous. Bud knew that , postol wanted bud to engage , n bud wanted postol to engage . Bud was winning so postol shoulda went out swinging but he gave the belt away

People don't realize that boxing isn't a video game these are real people. When you're down in a fight and you know if you open up and you will have to pay a price it's not easy. Some guys can do this but most aren't willing to walk through fire like that.
