Kudos to Crawford, he's on par with Ward, Floyd, Rigo and Loma in terms of talent

You're deluded I'll pick any top 5 welter to stop Crawford early.

Floyd loma and rigo one one level

    Ward just below that (IMO)

And Crawford is not near that yet he just above Bradley and that isn't an insult

Still, crawfod is the one with more margin of improvement. He can be better.

Crawford couldn't hold Mayweather's jock strap. Just nonsensical to try to put him in that elite nomenclature. I think the current 40 year old version of FLoyd would still beat him handily.

He's a very good fighter but I have my doubts though about how good he actually is especially with someone that hits harder than him. Manny looked very good in his last fight (really every fight he's been since getting KO'd a few years ago sans the FLoyd fight.) I think even this version of Manny would be way too much for TC.

He'll more than likely dominate at 140, but 147 is a totally different story. I don't see him hanging with the likes of a Spence or Thurman.

Is it too soon to call Crawford the next Floyd Mayweather?

Yes, what makes foyd so special is his boxingIQ. To get this IQ you need A LOT of experience and A LOT of years fighting and learning. He needs more experience if he wants to follow floyd's way.

EDIT:And a trainer according to that challenge too. Imho "uncle roger" is one of the wisest men in the sport, and imho floyd learnt a lot from him. You need a wise guy to learn from too if you want to get to floyd's boxingiq level.

Floyd grew up in a boxing family, had been boxing since he was a kid, and won a medal in the Olympics. He had a lot of experience.

    Too soon.

Crawford's a hell of a talent and I've been on the bandwagon for years, but he's not there.

Floyd and Loma are S-class talents, and I wouldn't argue too much if someone put Rigo there, either, even with being an older fighter. He'd be a half step below for me, personally.

Crawford is an A-class fighter for me, but he still hasn't peaked just yet. Can't wait to see where he takes his game from here.
