You'll never see a britt run from the fight, especially when they are in absolute control. If there was any doubt why US boxing is down the drain it's crystal clear after last night : to many cowards

I suspect it has more to do with how the amateur game has died in the US with little to no funding and since 2000 UK amateur boxers were getting lottery funding and so could actually dedicate their lives to boxing and get support that US boxers likely don't get such as access to better training facilities, coaching, physio's nutritionalists etc. For example Nicola Adams has all her meals prepared by a nutritionalist and delivered to her door.

It's no surprise UK boxers started having international success after the funding was secured. Froch won bronze at the world amateurs in 2001, the first Brit to medal at the world championships, Haye won a silver in the same games. Khan then won a silver in the following Olympics and we've continued to have amateur success since which of course has led to professional success.

While we all love to joke about Audley Harrison as a boxer one of the greatest things that he did for British boxing was win that gold medal at the Olympics as that achievement ensured UK amateur boxing got lottery funding and that is his greatest legacy and for that alone he should be commended.

The only two Americans worth the watch are Porter and Thurman. And sometimes they can be poor as well.

Like Postols last fight? Every time Lucas got close fool held on for dear life and he moved a lot too! Then people come on here talking up Postol like he was so great! All he did was hold, run and pot shot LM. That performance was far worse than Crawfords. It's not like Crawford fights this style every fight. He had to change his tactic to get the win. If he didn't he probably would have lost. Which of course you haters would have loved but, Craw Daddy was too smart for the one dimensional anorexic mummy Postol. Great win over a very good champ! Give TC his props.
