GGG has Koysta Tszyu's mystique but without any of the great Koysta Tszyu's substance. Koysta is already in the hall of fame and if GGG retired tomorrow he would not have done enough to qualify. He is 33 and has a bang average resume. He needs to do more but time is running out, I can tell you one thing for sure,he is no Koysta Tszyu.
Koysta Tszyu and GGG's careers have many similarities. Both big punchers neither have great wins. Both satisfied with staying in one weight their whole careers ruling over a weak division never dared to be great by moving up. I've always said GGG's career mirrors Tszyu's in many ways which is fine.
Tszyu was unlucky with a few injuries but he still is one of the few boxers who gave me goose bumps when fighting. There was a time when Mayweather was at his weight class but he did not stay around long and if Tszyu had of faced him there was only one winner at that time.
I consider GGG the significantly superior boxer though. In many/most facets. Let's see if anyone can dispel that notion.
Depends what you like, My fav boxers of all time were Tszyu, Benn and Gatti and would gladly Pay lot's of money to see them so in realty I prefer fighters not boxers. I would not pay the costs to watch GGG or mayweather because I find them to mechanical like watching robots without This content is protected
KT was a bad ass, regardless of how you want to **** on his record. The man was mentally very strong, and strategically he went for the kill. None of that pot shotting **** Would have loved to see him against a 140lb Floyd. It would have been a battle for the ages, Floyd had great speed, but KT had that timing doe
Anyone else think Kostya was more skilled in the amateurs based on footage? Seems to have fought a different style in the pros
True but Pimp reckons he ruled over a week division...although it was one of the more stacked at the time. The same division that Floyd was never number 1 in as he fought the weakest champion around.
Yes. Also he altered his style again after the Philips loss, a fight in where he was ill going into it.
