Selbys nothing special, he's the weakest belt holder in his division, he has a loss and has struggled with 3 or 4 guys. Warrington is improving with every fight and is a solid fighter.

Some people saying Selby would beat Warrington with ease... its just bull****.

Warrington in front of his leeds fans will be right up for it and would set a high pace.. It would be a close fight i reckon.

I did used to think Selby would win fairly comfortably, but right now... I think its like a 60/40 fight for Selby

Warrington is a dedicated pro, but at this stage of their careers Selby would murder him.

Why do so many people have this view, don't understand.

Warrington is a quality top 10 featherweight, and I think Selby is the weakest world champion, and it will probably be in Leeds. I could see Warrington being really up for it and delivering his best performance and taking it on points.

    My thoughts:
    Selby is the better boxer
    Warrington has the better workrate
Selby the most likely of the two to switch off during the bout
    Interesting fight.

Don't think either would murder the other, both don't carry power be points either way do agree Warrington is closing the gap.

Selby would be too good for him. Warringtons lack of power is his downfall.

Personal opinion having watched Warrington Saturday he lacks power for World level. his combos against euro/british level fighters look flashy but when he does trade in future think he will get found out

Mate..ur flogging a dead horse...ive been putting the same point accross for some time now but the only replys u seem to get is how selby is far superior, hes an elite fighter and hes a master technician.
Ive challenged people in the past to desctibe to me how and why u can call selby a master technician then u dont get a response. Selby beats anyone coming in straight lines i agree, once ur inside if selby hes pitiful and if u remember his last fight he got caught with the left hook every rd he has no defence in close.
Warrington will beat selby Imo. Can josh beat any of the other belt holders..no, not imo hes a way off the others atm.

The 1 attribute that Warrington has which may give Selby some trouble is his high workrate and volume of punches. However, see Mayweather v Hatton. Selby will counter him all night long and stop him late.

WarringTon impresses me a lot. He is a fantastic little boxer, but no doubt about it he does lack power. This would stop him from punishing selby when he gets in close IMO.
Selby is tall and long and unorthodox, but for me Warrington might well have better technical boxing fundamentals.

Warrington is abustle, quick, compact efficient little boxer. He reminds me a bit of hoko Hodgkinson....

I find it odd how Selby is being treated as the away fighter to Warrington even though he's a world champion under signed to Matchroom.

I doubt Warrington fights anyone of note soon because Hearn sees Leeds as a key market and needs him to keep winning.
