I thought the Leeds card was abit underwhelming. Good fights on paper which turned out to be dull in reality. But to be honest i'm not sure that any of the fighters that won actually progressed their career.

Warrington, good win but still chasing the Big fight against selby.

Campbell, good win, but wouldn't have gained much popularity, would have preferred him to fight for the European belt to be honest.

Whyte, no benefit at all to him beating Allen.

Nurse, best fight of the night IMO but I still think unless he vacates then he'll soon be beaten by Jack Catterall.

Then routine tick over fights for eggington, gavin, burnett with no tv exposure

I'm surprised people are not slaughtering Campbell and giving Mendez absolute hammer.

What a disgusting fight, truly despicable performance by Mendez, looked terrified of knocking Campbell out.

Reminded me of that scene in the film Raging Bull when LaMotta was suppose to throw a fight and hit the opponent and he nearly knocked him out and then has to basically hold him up.

Mendez would not be paid if it was down to me, I would withhold his purse for a true lack of any effort after dropping Campbell.

As for Campbell, he will get slaughtered soon enough.

I missed the card live as I was on holiday at the time and the only fight I've seen so far is Whyte-Allen. I look forward to seeing the Campbell fight after seeing this post, I'll look out for Mendez's effort level.

Nurse did well in a good TV fight.

Warrington did what was expected of him don't forget Hyland missed weight which was a huge advantage for him surprised Collins didn't pull him out as he was done after the first knockdown.

Mendez if he had broken his jaw should of been pulled out as he showed no ambition to win after round 2,very strange fight imo.

Maybe Nurse's career got a little boost as Coyle is probably his most well known opponent and it was exciting fight at times.

Other than that it was boring. Despite Campbell's win I think it's starting to show that he really isn't going to be a force on any high level. I thought he looked very sloppy and scared against someone fighting within themselves.

As Pro Punter said them Leeds fans are idiots. It's boxing not football, "stand up if you hate Man U" **** off there's 2 fellas risking everything right in front of you.

    The short answer is no.

It was another boring card served up on Sky.

The only positive was Halling being replaced.

That would have been the Billy Fox fight. The movie depiction was pretty much dead-on, as in the actual fight, LaMotta apparently hit Fox with a jab and almost knocked him out with it.

As for Campbell, as soon as he steps up to anything approaching fringe world level, against an opponent who isn't afraid of his amateur credentials of afraid to put it on him, Campbell gets a good beating. I don't even think he beats Yvan Mendy -- who just walked through Campbell's punches -- in a rematch.

Campbell didn't show a great deal of variety, either; he appeared to be doing the same things over and over again, hoping they would pay off.

I agree, I think Campbell is a KO waiting to happen.

It's about time people realised what Campbell is. I would love to see him and masher. Winer gets a shot at European

Hmm, Mendez definitely stopped boxing after Rnd 5. On IFL Luke said he broke Mendez's jaw in Rnd 4 but I didn't see any jaw breaking punch in that round so it's a bit strange. Luke was so tentative with his jab after he felt Mendez's power and then when Mendez stopped throwing his jab became more forceful. If Mendez kept throwing he probably would have won the fight.

I think Luke will have an Amir Khanesque career. I can see him winning a few big fights on points but I think he'll be knocked out at LW and then move up in weight, only to be KO'd again. He definitely seems scared of being hit now. Total contrast to how he boxed against Coyle, which was obviously an easy fight for him.

He destroys Cardle and Dodd though, is there any point in him winning the British title?

Eddie not very happy with Dillian :bbb

I have actually warmed to the bodysnatcher over the last 48 hours his ifl interview was class telling Dave to sort his diet out and tutting when Allen mentioned going KFC. I then clicked on the next vid showing Whyte sitting there eating choc bars out of a ASDA bag.
