    Lloyd Honeyghan after the Raggmuffin Man beat up Donald Curry.

    Randy Turpin could have been briefly considered the best MW after his victory over the (admittedly faded SRR).

    I suppose we could go way back and find a few more, but those two sprang immediately to mind.

    How about Minter?? Most experts rightly considered Hagler the best in the division by far...but based on records against respective opponents, most fans in the UK felt that Minter was undoubtedly the man at MW!!

    Even Joe's most rabid haters must agree that at one point he was undoubtedly the man at 168.

    Like many, I wish that he had took more chances and fought some of the greats who were around at the time or their primes.

    Nevertheless, he was #1 at 168.
