Sky replaced my Satellite at Xmas due to a fault. I have been monitoring the Boxnation HD glitch since Canelo v Khan and was thinking about getting Sky back

Channel 437 is fine it only happens on 490

I can confirm that I am having the same exact problem.

It's good to know that others are experiencing this problem as well because like the poster above, I thought my equipment was faulty.

I contacted BoxNation about the issue and like many others' experience, they said the issue was not with them but with Sky. Furthermore, I contacted Sky and they said that because it's a third-party channel, it is nothing they could do. And it is at this point where I left it... I even thought I may need to update my HDMI cables or not record the UFC when recording of BoxNation HD but clearly, that's not the problem.

I will contact I can confirm that I am having the same exact problem.

I just emailed Adam from BoxNation and copying my email here and will update when I get a response.

    Hi Adam

I just want to follow our email correspondence below because I have updates which I think yourself and BoxNation need to be aware of.

First of all, I contacted Sky like you suggested and they stated that they could not assist because BoxNation is a third-party channel and as a result, it is BoxNation that would need to resolve the issue. They also confirmed that there was no issue with the Sky Asia channel – I can’t confirm that I observed this but the operator said it was fine.

I can confirm that this issue continues with the BoxNation HD channel during live broadcasts and was evident last weekend during the Frampton fight.

Before you jump to conclusions and push back – as you did previously I can confirm that I am not the only person who is having the problem – and has reported it to you. Go to Boxing Forum 24 and somebody has made a thread about this today – I’ve done the honours and print screened the comments for you – see below (inserted images of people's comments in my email).

Are you able to look into this and resolve with the technical team? I will copy and paste this email and our entire conversation to the this internet forum for accountably reasons – and to get this resolved because as paying customers we deserve better. It is very easy to find illegal streams for BoxNation but we are the dedicated ones who pay our money every month therefore please give us the service we expect.

    Many thanks,

It's a viewing box that gives your Free To Air channels. You'll need to buy a 'subscription' that will give you all the additional channels - for example £50 for 3-months for all the UK sports channels.

The boxes are legal but the 'subscriptions' are not. In its essence the signals are being relayed to subscribes buy someone who has purchased a legal subscription to those channels.

That's the long and short of it....

I got a response from BoxNation:

    Hi

I do not know how Sky can tell you the Set Asia channel (Ch 782) is fine if you do not have it in your package as stated in previous email correspondence. I would certainly raise that point to Sky Customer Services

Also after having a look at various forums I can see a number of customers stating it is a MUX/Frequency issue and to contact Sky.

If Sky are not willing to help you on this I can only advise you to view on our main channel 437 which as stated before works on a different frequency and is unaffected with any dish frequency issues you may be having with our HD service. As stated in previous email correspondence we can only send a signal to the viewing card which we can clearly see we have. If we are sending a signal then it is down to the satelite dish/receiver not picking up the transmission and that is Sorely down to Sky. This would be the case for any third party.

If Sky are refusing to provide additional help then I would also advise you there are other devices which you can view BoxNation on such as:

    Freeview TV's
    iOS devices
    Android Mobile
    Android Tablets
    Talk Talk
    Virgin
    PC/Laptop
    Freeview Boxes

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Kind regards

    Adam

That's all good and well, but none of those offer the HD channel.

It's good to hear others are experiencing the problem, thought it was only me.

I'm giving it a month, if its not fixed I'm cancelling my subscription.

    I've contacted BoxNation again today - I don't expect a response.

The customer services appears even worse than the domestic boxing schedule.

Unsubscribe, unsubscribe and unsubscribe is the only way to get something done.

but the golden question is when is this channel going to end. You keep making comments

Name a date or at least a year when boxnation will cease trading.

That channel has been an irrelevance to 99.99% of UK Sports and Boxing fans for at least 3 years now.

When it ceases trading - who cares how long it limps on for while making annual loss after loss.

Less than 400 subscribers and that number falling even further by the sound of it on this thread.

Where are the Boxnation subscribers? Gone :arran
When did they go? A long time ago :smh
