BJ is so average, little power, some movement and footwork, average speed. I expect he'll lose a wide points decision.
His one saving grace is a decent chin, saying that however Bellew can be outboxed easily.

I would say fair enough first defence and all that but he said after makabu fight he wants to unify next and wants lebadev. If his next fight is the same as this I can see him doing a brook and jumping up to HW to fight haye in a big payday get beat and still be world champion. It's a joke the way you can jump weights, get beat and still be considered a world champion

Probably to try and set up a haye fight as haye and Flores are pals

Expected this really but not that bothered as long as it's just for his first defence.
But it will take some good match ups on the undercard for me to buy tickets. Knowing Eddie though it'll be TBA TBA TBA and you have to gamble and buy them before all the bandwagon knob heads beat you to a possibly good night.

Bellew will just fight bum defences now for a few years then retire as champ.

    Yeah.

I don't mind this fight, so long as he steps up his second defence. Flores was awful against Shumenov and thought he won. Bellew will knock him out cold IMO.

Haye would paralyse Bellew, it would be his last ever fight.

What gets me is that Bellew is slagging Haye off for fight no-marks, yet Tony has literally done the same with this fight.

I mean the guy has options due to how deep CW is, but Flores? You won't find a more undeserving fighter.

A sloppy BJ will be taken care of by Bellew inside the distance.

Bellew is only fighting flores because the ppv calendar is stacked.....plus the purse to bring flores over..and pay bellew...will be inline with a saturday night sky sports 1 card....would of preferred bellew haye on ppv....but easy 1 st defence for.tony....probably deserved to be honest

This fight is absolutely dreadful. Flores was ranked 26th with the WBC last month by the way

Bellew wanted to face McKenzie or Maccarinelli, but Kucher ruined any chance of the latter happening(and Bellews handlers won't put him anywhere near Kucher) and Mckenzie is booked to fight Huck. No clue how this absolute farce is being sanctioned. Bellew should be stripped, this is a complete joke of a fight. A couple of days ago Flores was barely rated in the WBC top 30.....

Let that serve as proof that the powers at be can change and buy rankings whenever they please. What an absolute disgrace.

I think that's how Bellew got Hearn to pay for the Goodison Event :think
