Ward's only chance against Kovalev is to stink up the fight

Run,hold, headbutt, rabbit punching, elbowing, run some more, hold some more then rely on boxing corruption. That's his only chance against a better fighter, a better athlete and a far better boxer. That's if he doesn't get caught with an ending career straight right hand. Calling it now, the fight won't get made, Ward is no dummy, he knows it too

Ward, in all likelyhoood, will stand the best chance of winning by making the fight a fight that a lot of people will call boring, but he can still win without corruption. I expect Ward to win by outboxing and frustrating Kovalev rather than beating him up.

Also, Kovalev is a better athlete and boxer than Ward? Seriously? Can I ask why you think this?

Ward always has stamina problems in championship rounds. And the display Kovalev put on a master like Hopkins is beyond anything Ward could ever achieve, he can't even dream of such performance

He'd need to turn back the clock and do what he did against Froch who struggled to land on him.

Hopkins might as well have come out in a wheelchair dude. Seriously. In regard to "boxing years" the man is ancient. You honestly believe Kovalev puts the same work on Hopkins when Bernard was 32? :huh To steal a line from Coming to America: "He was a 176 years old when they fought! 176 years old!"

He's not going to be in the ring with a 50 year old man this time.

You do realize that Hopkins wasn't trying to win anymore, right? He made it easy for kovalev.

Amazing how many people who claimed Hopkins would school the plodding, one dimensional, Euro bum suddenly turned tail to claim he wasn't trying to win.

Yes Hopkins was old but Kovalev shut him down.

Intresting perspective I saw it pretty 50/50 when it can to logical objective opinions.

What's more intresting are the pre-set excuses if Ward happens to win yet again lol. Kovalev is an awesome fighter no doubt his killer instinct is he dominant trait but why is it so hard to realize Wards skill set, intelligence and boxing brain is just a level above I don't get why this is misinterpreted as cheating....I'm embarrassed to say I'm part of this forum typing amongst folks who exist in a bubble

He cant win like that in Las Vegas. They will rob him even if he outboxes Kovalev. They hate his guts.

He looks old compared to the guy from Supa 6. I know he is older but he just looks like a fading fighter. Its injuries I know it.

Ward has an excellent chance to beat Kovalev but he has to be on his A game throughout the full 12 rounds.

I'm really intrigued about the fight and how it's going to play out.
