and destroying Ward in his own back garden He's done that to many a fighter He likes being booed more than cheered :yep There's no way HBO would allow for it though. This is Ward's second chicken tactic move and we've only just begun. What an absolute weasel Waiting for him to demand Sergey fight in a pink mankini
Yeah going to Oakland is a bad idea for Ward's health but I'm sure this is just the first of many attempts to thwart the fight cause Ward knows what's up. Ward's getting ****ed up. He'll have to claim injury to get out cause Kovalev will call that bluff.
the point is HBO will want this fight in Vegas Ward trying to have it anywhere other than where HBO would obviously want it is a pathetic attempt to find a way out
You can't blame a guy for trying. If he flat out refused to fight Kovalev anywhere except Oakland, that would be a different story.
fight will happen i hope these idiots dont start making re****ed excuses if kovalev is unable to ko ward and/or gets schooled
You've got to wonder how much more HBO will take before they just "delay" it. They've got a Pac and a Cotto fight sandwiching this 2 weeks apart both before and after. They'll put up with some flak because Roc has Cotto, and that's who HBO really wants. They'll gladly lose some money on Andre if it means they get to cash in with Miguel because that's a net gain for them. But there's a limit. Put yourself in their shoes: they're dealing with B-class promoters (both Roc and Duva) with A-class fighters that'll do D-class earnings for them. The casuals are going to be tapped out from Pac and Cotto, so only hardcore fans will give a damn anyways. And half of them will download it for free. That's a big driver as to why the buildup has been so halfhearted.
Bollox to that. People get shot here in broad daylight, expecially around the stadium area. The Russian might literally not make it out alive.
Its odd but it does seem that unless I am missing announcements that lately I dont think Wards fights have been confirmed until late on. Smith I think was around 2 months Barrera I think was a bit less Brand I think was also less than 2 months They to my knowledge all seem very short notice I have thought this with Wilder also but may have missed announcements Maybe the Kovalev fight wont be confirmed until around 6/7 weeks before the fight for some reason?
That's what real men do, they charge head first into the enemy stronghold, and raze their city to the ground, conquer and demand fealty from its citizenry and brutally dominate, humiliate and ultimately destroy its leader. Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat.:deal
