Do you think Billy Joe didnt fancy his chances in this fight? For me I do not understand why he turned down the chance to box in front of 60,000 people and get paid well, againts a guy with multiple losses on his record. In fact every time he has stepped up he has been beaten! Do you think Billy Joe didnt fancy the fight, because the majority of people that have beaten Rosasdo have got inside and roughed him up? With BJS being a pure boxer maybe he thought it was too risky and would of been a nip and tuck affair, in which the challenger could have nicked it on points? It feels weird that he wanted to box Bursak but Rosado is apprently not a credible challenger?
They probably didn't offer him enough money. There's no reason for Saunders to believe he wouldn't school Rosado.
TT think Billy Joe fancies his chances against most fighters the money might not be right and also he may be a small MW but he needs lengthy camps to shift the excess weight he puts on between fights.
Knowing billy joe he either can't be bothered for that fight, or the money wasn't right Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I imagine he turned it down as he's boring as ****e to watch, the fight would have been a stinker and as a result there'd be no desire for him to fight Canelo.
On paper it does seem odd, especially if it was written in that he'd fight Canelo in December. You have to presume he wanted more money.
Billy Joe needs to step it up he's becoming boring but I think he knows his title is disappearing soon but guess as long as he doesn't fight anyone of danger then he keeps it, but his saleability is just nose diving the more he stays inactive.
