he is delaying the fight as long as possible. why? because wlad is old. fury ducked his way to where he is. why would anyone expect anything different now?
Seems like retirement. A) Talked of retirement before B) Obviously wants no part of Wlad rematch C) Possibly facing the drug suspension D) Rumors that he can't get in shape E) Possibly faked an injury I mean, hell, why not just retire? He can always come back later and cherry pick ala Haye and Briggs.
I cant see him retiring - its ALL about the money for him. If only to cash out one last time he'd fight again.
probably about Hughie maybe getting the Joshua fight? He doesn't seem keen on defending his titles that is for sure. The 4 month delay for a sprained ankle never made sense anyway. I can see a one month or maybe 2 at the most but not 4.
This isn't the first time he has announced "a huge announcement coming soon" and then... crickets in the desert. Fury loves winding up people, most of all his own fans.
