Golovkin has perfect timing and is very accurate this is one of his best traits

@ Naysayer^^I've been critical of Golovkin's resume, but outside of Lee, Saunder Jr, Jacobs and Quillin, he has fought the best available competition at MW.

Unfortunately, this historically great division is devoid of elite talent so even if he does face most/all of those guys mentioned, it won't do much for his legacy. He'll be the unified MW champion which is a helluva feat, it's just unfortunately happened during a time when there's not a lot of world beaters at the top of 160 lb.

I've been clamoring for him to move to 168 for 2 years now. A guy with his power and his skillset should not be wasting his time (especially at his age,) waiting around for these guys at 160 since I don't think any of them have a shot against him.

To truly be considered great, he does need to fight someone where it looks like an actual 50-50 fight, or better yet, someone who would be favored over him. All the greats in the past have gone through that at some point in their careers. The logical thing is for him to go up to 168 now but I can't be too critical with him if his intention is to unify the 160 division. It just sucks because the better competition for him is at 168 and obviously 175.

 

There is *nothing* particularly skillful in knocking over a series of TOMATO CANs.

Bumlovkin is a J O K E. Just look at his resume. The best fighter on it is a 147lb'er.

He could have dared to be great and took the Ward fight. He beats Ward and he's an instant legend - and people like me would have had no choice but to give him his props or STFU. Instead, he wants to fight guys you've never heard of, guys with all of *6* KOs on their record and WELTERWEIGHTS.

Bumlokvin is a disgrace to the legendary 160lb division in particular and to the sport of boxing in general...
