People seem to question the business decisions of the networks no matter what.

If this was on PPV and did 300k buys, people would be saying what a big money-loss it was. People now saying that not having it on PPV is a money loss too. Same thing when GGG was PPV, or Crawford.

We can question whether a fight is worthy of PPV, but maybe we should trust that the business decisions are made by people who ****yse things in a more nuanced fashion than 'viewers x PPV = success'.

It'll be on regular HBO. They'll have GGG ringside - they'll even have him in the ring after the fight taunting Canelo with the title he was stripped of. And they'll market the **** out of GGG off the back of Canelo, boosting GGG's viewing figures and possibly create an artificial snowball effect for their eventual fight.

HBO want the GGG-Canelo fight - it's not happened because Canelo carries too much power at the negotiating table. To address that power requires some gerrymandering of the numbers - having a large portion of Canelo's viewers tune in for GGG-Brook (which is achievable through promotion of GGG via Canelo - HBO has done this for years) and beyond and, of course, count the Brook-GGG UK PPV figures towards GGG's selling power in the subsequent fight.

I won't pay one more penny to see that ducking wuss. If his next fight is on PPV, it's a shame.

 When Canelo no longer appears on PPV it will be because he's a LOSER !!!

Can't draw enough fans to PPV to meet "expenses" !!!

    :hey That's the BOTTOM LINE...

    The rest is BS !!!
