At least, Brook is going for greatness. Nothing like diva Mayweather or Canelo.

Brook is an optimist. And nobody can take that from him.

If Brook wins against GGG then he is on his way to at least one more big money fight. If he loses then he is in serious trouble because Spence is waiting and has the skills to beat him. If he drops back down to 154 then that's like jumping into a meat grinder cause them boys will tear his ass up. Brook did the only thing that he could, he jumped out of the skillet into the fire. If he's gonna burn, he might as well burn all the way up and get paid well for it.

    No.

Ward beating Kovalev is the better win and it ain't even close. Kovalev is the more proven fighter at his weight. Exactly WHO has Bumlovkin beaten?

    :deal

Bumlovkin Brook is *nothing* but the main attraction @ a 3 ring circus. If Brook wins it only proves that Bumlovkin was ALL hype to begin with. Beating a hype job with **** for a resume isn't enough to make Brook P4P #1. Far from it...

Brook beating GGG at 160 would be better than Kovalev-Ward (whoever wins), to jump two weight classes and beat Golovkin is crazy. I mean he'd have a case.

Well, I hope for him. He has no other choice but to run anyway. It will be this way as soon as he feel the power behind GGG punches.

Why hasn't he fought top opposotion in his own weightclass :think

My take, he is doing this for the same reasons Khan did.

He hasn't had many opportunities to fight top opposition in his weight class.

Khan and Brook took those fights because they were fortunate enough to get those opportunities. If you have those opportunities, why not take them?
