When will Ward announce he's not fighting Kovalev?

Right after Kovalev announces he's fighting someone else.

 

It's not like Canelo and Golden boy where we just know what they're gonna do next or for that matter Eubank Jnr who I knew would never face GGG,with Ward I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled out nor would I ba surprised if it went ahead?bad answer I know.

ok you have a fair point about only fighting in Oak...though he did face Froch in NYC, not exactly Froch's backyard, but just about as far away as you could get from Oak. i think Froch had already fought there before Ward did

I live in SF, 8 miles from Oak. we love that Ward has brought boxing to the Bay, but I agree he does get homefield advantage almost 100% of the time

 

When is the fight going to properly be announced?
I have noticed recently that wards fights don't seem to be confirmed until they are quite close to fight night even though it is noted ward is boxing but the opponent not known for definate
I would like to see an official announcement and know of a press conference with both fighters present
