" smoke and mirrors". Is building up some dude to be a God for constructing an entire career on has beens and mediocrities.. Leonard came out of a five year retirement and being a huge under dog to beat a solid middle weight who despite being past prime still would have beaten Norris and all his opponents... You don't know squat about boxing.

For someone who claims to have me on ignore, you seem to have observed enough of my posts on this thread.

So not only are you an idiot, you are a liar too. You are just like the other lost causes on this thread. You simply CAN NOT offer anything Leonard did at 154 as an example of how he beats Norris.

Whereas I CAN say without a doubt the gutless vermin ran like a thief in the night from a 154 fight with Hearns between 82 - 84.

You are a perfect example of why a formal education can sometimes be dangerous. You lack the ability to think for yourself, you merely do as you are told, and believe what you are told, like good brainless cannon fodder.

Morons like you remind me of the " Us and Them " track from the Dark Side Of The Moon album.

" Forward he cried from the rear, and the front ranks died.

The general sat, and the lines on the map, moved from side to side. "

That is you, the brainless lump of sh!t, that would blindly follow orders and charge into his own demise.

You put me on ignore because my truth became too difficult for you to keep replying back to without getting yourself repeatedly banned :deal

You know that's the truth, don't try to deny it yellow belly :nono

Its possible that Norris beats SRL prime for prime, from the begining of this debate I always made this claim, regardless,, claiming that SRL was still PRIME when he fought Norris OR claiming the result would of been exactly the same IF SRL and Norris would of met prime for prime is just silly and the only reason you keep doing it is to be a ass and you know it :nono

I think we can wrap up this thread and chalk this up to being a win for Leonard prime for prime. Those who want to pick Norris on the basis of "stylistic" reasons and not because of what happened in their actual meeting are reasonably free to do so. But strawman arguments like " Ray wasn't really past it" or " Ray never did anything at 154" don't quite cut it. Ray beat plenty of guys who had success at 154 like Hearns, Benitez and Duran.. He convincingly beat a prime undefeated champion in Kalule AT 154 himself. He beat a still very formidable Hagler at 160, and never lost to the likes of men like Luis Santana, Simon Brown, Keith Mullings or Dana Rosenblatt in ANY division... The two guys ( or possibly one on the same account ) are responsible for this thread lasting about 50 pages longer that it should have...

Leonard had the record of an ATG. Norris had the record of a very good fighter and nothing more.

    POSSIBLE?

you mean PROBABLE, since none of you have ever made a case for Leonard beating Norris

I'm not at all confident that the 1981 version that took 11 to take out Bonds is ever going to compete with Norris

What I AM confident of is that Terry will use his speed to bewitch, bother, N bewilder a confused SRL en route to another UD (along with two good old fashioned knockdowns and a couple of his teeth)

stop the lies; we can read

an atg reads like Hagler or Monzon, Floyd Jr, or Marciano

srl at 36-3-1 dont cut it

btw, Norris has 10 def at his weight. How many does srl have?

If you cant answer then shaddup!

Norris lost 9 times, 4 by ko.
Leonard lost 4 times only once by ko. (In his final bout)

Norris fought complete bums his first 20 bouts
Leonard fought many seasoned pros in his first ten bouts

Norris was an amateur champion in the worst amateur talent pool perhaps in the world.
Leonard was an Olympic gold medalist who beat world class amateurs.

Completely incomparable. SRL amateur and pro careers were head and shoulders above Norris.

OMG, that's your explanation? Sugar beat guys who had success at 154 even tho he had next to none himself?

Doing nothing with your title carries more weight than somebody who has ten defenses to his credit and had the suppossedly more successful fighter for lunch in their h2h meeting

    talk about strawman arguments!

I'm going with the facts and evidence here

    Norris 120

    srl 106

rey never faced anyone with the speed of a Norris or Camacho

It took 11 to dispose of Bonds which gives STRONG evidence to the contrary

Norris had the style to defeat Rey

    Norris kicked rey's butt

    Norris has 10 def

    rey has none

simply put, everything rey did, Norris did better
