I think it goes to the later rounds in fairness

I also think Brook takes a lot of punishment in the process

No chance, Brooks getting destroyed and I hope for his sake the fight doesn't go on too long otherwise he may never be the same again.

I think the skills of Brook are way supierior than ANY of GGG's wins to date. For this reason only it will not be a early win for GGG.

Brook is really a 154 fighter and trains with regular people around that size (he sparred froch on occasions). So the weight issue will be a factor BUT not as much as people think because GGG is not really a smothering, grab and hold and weight using kind of fighter. For this reason i don't think this will tire brook out and exhaust him out that he gets stopped and KO'ed.

then to power, no doubt GGG is the best puncher here. However, Brook has enough skills to be elusive but the question mark is can he keep the concentration for 12 rounds? -YES see the porter fight.
Brook needs to have his movement on point as GGG can set traps like mayweather and the IQ of GGG is high. This is where i think GGG may get the better of Brook.

So what does brook need to do? well ****ysing this its not as simple the only chance he has is
    1. can he punch harder enough to get GGG to think "twice" about hunting him down? if he punching hard enough and CLEANLY hits GGG then brook has a chance.
    2. Punch output Brook will have the slight advantage in punching speed. BUt GGG is not known for throwing a load of punching per round -its quality punching. Brook I actually think will not try to out-gunn and aim to have a high punch output all rounds. He will counter-punch for a lot of the fight the simple reason being he is moving up and its all unknown if he can keep it up for later in the rounds.
    3. Speed and Timing i have to give this kell brook the advantage and it was the timing that won him thr fight against porter. So i expect this to win some points on the scorecards.
    4. Chin - this is where i think Brook's downfall will be. The question is can he take GGG's power? if he can keep flush shots away from himself then he can progress but if not then it be early stoppage.
    5. footwork - brook and GGG have excellent footwork this is another reason why i actually think this will not be a quick KO win for GGG as they both as very good. Brook can pivot excellently out of range same with GGG. i think this is another reason there will not be a quick stoppage.

ALl in all i actually think this will be a later round fight and possibly 12 round fight. It will be a TKO in later rounds for GGG or a points (close) win by GGG. I said close as every punch the fans will roar and make it more closer than it actually should be. Martin Murray took GGG a lot of rounds so i expect the same here. To be fair brook only needs to win 1 extra round than GGG....

The more I run through this fight in my head the more I start to favour an early ko for GGG, like rounds 2-4. Hope I'm wrong & Brook can at least make it past the 6th.

Trust me he make it more then 2-4 rounds nothing will happen in those rounds brook won't press to much and GGG will try to time brook and read him better as this be the best boxer he has faced to date. The action will happen 5+ rounds onwards

This fight will go rounds because it's a box office clash. Don't think GGG has faced anyoneike brook. He is a class act himself despite what some people think. Has GGG really faced a boxer who can fight back? Like the poster before stated, it will go 5 rounds before the action starts. Still fancy GGG but brook can fight and mix it up. Then you factor the crowd and the judges. Will be an epic IMO.

I think this will go the way of Superman vs Bellew, Brook will last 5 rounds tops before GGG dismantles him.

I think Kel will last for a while, don't see a 1 or 2 round KO for GGG.

But lets be realistic Kell hasn't fought anyone in the top five of his own weight class let alone in middle weight.

Prediction KO by GGG in round 6

    Excellent post!

I think GGG will probably win a close decision, if there was a stoppage it will be late 9-12 rounds for GGG, but I think brook can go the distance.
