I thought that when it was mandatory that the split was often 80/20 to the champ. Could be wrong but thought that to be correct.
I know it doesnt always go that way and often challengers can get more, also I dont think Eubank is a mandatory to Saunders and think it would be a voluntary defence.

Saunders didnt have to face Eubank to start with, and gave Eubank a shot at the start.
    Saunders is the champ.
Eubank would be challenging for his title
    Saunders beat Eubank

Im not in a position to say what is correct or not, but I would guess that if Eubank wants to try and avenge the defeat to Saunders he would have to give ground on a 50/50 split

I always liked the 50/50 type model.. on either side.. but 60/40 sounds better..

If the GGG v Brook fight goes well, Eddie might offer a really good deal to BS to fight Canelo. CEJ is just another big mouth coward...

The only way Eubank gets a 50/50 is if its on sky box office...and he beats a relevant name in the world top 10...like a David lemieux...or.even rosado

If there's any justice in this world then CEJ won't get an even share. Not after the GGG ring tease.

Facts are facts Saunders has 3 choices
1--- Carry on fighting , no names and easybeats to hold on to the title has long has he can , then try and sell out the canteen at the local gypsy fair

2--- Step up , act like a true world champ grow a pair fight GGG , Lemieux ,, Canelo , or someone else with half a chance , and earn good money from tickets and ppv .

3 --- Take a chance on fighting Jnr It will sell well he already has a win , but the price is, he has to take 50-50 ,, but 50-50 of say 2 million is better than 80-20 of 500 grand fighting a domestic or european easybeat .

Do people really want to see a rematch?
They already fought and it was awful to watch.

I'm not so bothered about a rematch to be honest; the outcome was clear to me. 50/50 is frankly a joke. Saunders is the champ and beat him, plus he's added another notable victory since that fight. CEJ has gone back to British level, he hasn't really done anything to force himself into a title position at all. 70/30 is probably right, but 50/50 though lol. These guys keep making fights difficult for themselves

Saunders knows Eubank beats him easy this time round, demanding 80/20 is just a straight duck.

Why even talk about "again" and "this time around". Their first ..and I sincerely hope, only, "fight" was a stink fest. Surely nobody wants to see that rubbish again?

One of the few times I will agree with this nationalist *****.

It was a rubbish first fight. Eubank Jr spent 6 rounds trying to uppercut BJS and then BJS gassed for the final 6.

Both looked well below world class and it's a testament to how much of a joke boxing is with its 4 belts that BJS is a world champ.
