Ignoring the obvious duck Canelo will perform if this becomes a possibility, how do you see this one panning out?

You're probably right, actually. Will be another embarrassing duck for Canelo though, I reckon.

Seems to be a lot of people who were watching another GGG v Brook fight. Brook got his ass handed to him as any sane person knew he would. Two punches from Brook doesn't make him the new Ali. In the end Brook stood there like a lemon waiting to be knocked out and it was only ego that stopped him from giving up. Hearn the promotor set him up with three also rans to make his win steak look good before GGG, trouble is no one told GGG the game plan. Carl Froch must have taken too many shots to the head if he really thought Brook could win. It will be the same scenario with Joshua when Haye finally gets his hands on him. I heard the word "heroic" mentioned dozens of times tonight, but what's heroic about fighting out of your class and taking a beating. Far too many match-ups that are uneven now and seems to be the norm. Looking forward to seeing Eubank and Benn fight an equal and see how that pans out for them. I remember when a Richard Dunn who was a Yorkshire bricklayer by day and a boxer on the side fought Ali for £100,000. No one in their right mind thought he would win especially as he had a glass jaw. But at least the uneven match-ups weren't as commonplace as today with social media, promotors and sky ramping up the interest. I wonder if GGG will retire after he takes Billy Jo Saunders title then hits Eubank jnr so hard that Eubank Snr's monacle falls out.

Hearn just said after the fight somebody from HBO said are you interested in Brook Vs Canelo.

Hearn said Yes of course, so if Canelo as expected wins next week then we could well see Brook Vs Canelo.

HBO wanted to make Brook vs Cotto and not surprised that after tonight they see a fight vs canelo as a great fight to make.

    Peter Nelson was impressed

I'll go for Canelo but my prediction's made with no great confidence. What did Brook show us tonight except immense courage and a good chin? He seemed to give Golovkin a wee bit of trouble but appearances can be deceiving. GGG had no respect for his power so fought open. Before tonight I favoured Canelo and I stand by my pick. It'd be a hell of a fight but I'd lean towards The Ginger One. Will it ever get made? It makes perfect sense. Remember Brook and Liam Smith are sparring partners. Who knows? Boxing is a funny old sport.

It's hard to say when you consider that Brook now has a very serious eye injury. This type of injury makes it nearly impossible for Kell to be favored vs anyone let alone Canelo right now. Kell is a tremendous talent and at 100% would give anyone (GG, Khan, Smith, Canelo, etc) fits as he known today vs GG. But with this type of injury I would favor Khan, Smith or Canelo to stop Brook or cause Ingle to throw in the towel. Even after 6 months of healing, it only takes one punch from any of these guys at 154 to cause the eye socket to crack again.

This injury sucks becuase I really like Kell and was rooting for him today. It's a terrible way to have this fight stopped, this was the biggest fight of Kell's life!

Kell gets destroyed again. Kell doesn't have the power, jab, or head movement to survive when Canelo corners him.

Any top 10 fighter at 160 or 154 destroys Kell.

Canelo like GGG is too big for Kell and hits too hard for him. If he can't hurt GGG he won't hurt Canelo. Canelo is a faster, much more technical fighter that sets traps and has great timing and combinations. I don't see Kell lasting in this fight either.
