I've seen Cuadras several times, which gave me a little bit of a leg up tonight, the first round was close but should have gone to Cuadras, he was countering better and landed more, and more accurately, but most haven't seen him and just assumed Roman would blow him away, the perception of how they thought the fight would go wasn't gelling with the reality of how the match was actually going. Which is why many gave Roman the round. They couldn't process properly that Roman lost the round.

Cuadras slipped a ton of Roman's shots throughout the first half of the fight and kept most of the rounds close except for the 2nd and the 3rd. No ****ing way was that match clear cut, Cuadras should have retained his belt it could have been scored for him or a draw. But Roman didn't deserve to take his belt, he didn't do quite enough.

I don't think Roman is going to want that rematch.

If either guy worked in the body more we could of seen a different fight. Cuadras almost had Roman with brutal body shots but he did not follow up in the next round after pushing Roman to the ropes late in the fight.

If a rematch happened I think Cuadras will make the necessary adjustments to take it.

I think Cuadras stands a better chance against the monster also.

Cuadras made me acknowledge his ability as the fight went on.

I agree Choco doesn't want to go through that again. He pushed his limits and got the win but Cuadras could improve on his performance.

Props to Gonzalez though, his heart matches his talent.

Chocolatito's face was worse for the wear at the end of 12. He looked like he got his ass whooped. Cuadras' face didn't look bad at all.

Boxer has a broken eye socket and can't see his opponent. Boxer is two weights over his usual fighting weight and in the ring with the biggest puncher on the planet at the new weight.

Fans complain the fight was stopped too early.

There you have the easiest way to identify people who don't understand boxing and have no respect for the risks these men take. Moronic.

We kind of got a Mini-GGG vs. a Mini-Maravilla tonight, Gonzalez vs. Cuadras played out the same way I've always thought GGG vs. Maravilla would have played out.

I saw a difference in power, but not in size.

I think Brook had what it took to beat Thurman, Spence, and Vargas, could of unified 147, and then challenge Ggg, but it's unfortunate he couldn't make 147 anymore. Undisputed welter king vs undisputed middleweight ruler would have been even more significant. I never doubted Brook, I knew he'd give Ggg or anyone for that matter a run for their money. Ggg is hurting bigger men than Brook on the regular it's a miracle Brook didn't go down in the 1rst round after that crushing head-body combo Ggg landed on him. Brook was a mobile target so Ggg's power wasn't going to have the devastating effect it had on previous opponents.

I woke up from a nap at 10:15pm and thought "awesome, haven't missed the fights yet!" and was snoring again within 5 minutes having failed to even roll across the couch to grab the remote. :crybaby2:
