Good video as usual. I don't think there's many who will truly test him unless he goes upto 168. James DeGale would test him for sure. DeGale's stamina is questionable, though. I can't think of another guy who would truly test him at 168. I'm not too sold on Zurdo Ramirez or Callum Smith as of yet until they face a better opponent.
He has no real tests at 160 or below. Saunders could box clever for a few rounds but with his poor stamina and Golovkins punches he would soon slow down and get taken out. Jacobs just gets taken out early. The power is too much it grinds you down. At this weight you need a master Boxer who is just not guna take any punishment, a natural 160 Floyd would be interesting but there isnt one. If he wants the tests he claims he wants then he needs to look up in weight. Super Middle or even LightHeavy. People who are used to taking heavier jabs and hooks and body shots an who can also come back with heavier blows themselves cuz everybody is just naturally bigger.
Good vid again Rummy. Nobody is really going to test him @160. The fact that people are going berserk over Golovkin losing one or two rounds, while all these greats lost rounds, had draws or sometimes even lost to lesser and/or smaller boxers, kinda shows how far Golovkin stands above the current crop. Jacobs isn't going to test him, because he just can't take the punishment while Saunders just lacks the power and stamina. Besides that both these guys lack the self believe they can beat him, so that small mental component isn't there either.
if he moves up to 168 ggg vs degale would be a 6 round war, and I fancy degale to stop him , apart from that cant see anybody at 160 or 168 beating him
I would love to see GGG vs Degale He s the only 168 er I would give a chance at upsetting GGG , but only by decision , with a smart strategy and much improved stamina. Nice video, somehow reminds me of Froch - Bute, when Froch found that could take Bute's shots he shows no respect and for Bute was over, more or less here, GGG had no problem with Brook shots and it was over for him. I don't see Froch beating GGG but I see Ward doing this.
I think when Hopkins was talking to GGG post fight, he was most likely thinking "if I was 15 years younger I would kick your ass!!" Lol
