It was borderline disgraceful in how bias it is. You cant blame the crowd of course any time brook has a small hint of success they are going to go wild.

But the commentary, who's idea was it to have froch as a commentator? He was obviously going to bad mouth GGG as much as possible, they ignored tons of gggs work, he was smashing brooks face back with jabs and i don't think they noticed one of them, brook had he's moments but he never looked like he hurt GGG while gggg seemed to rock brook with every punch

The 4th round for me took the biscuit, GGG was starting to out a hiding on him, every shot was hurting and he was dominanting the ring. Then brook landed one or two pitty patty shots and frog goes i cant split them even round!. And that's the round brook was wilting in and looking weak.

The ref missed a knockdown in round one, the judges should all be investigated for there scorecards if they really had brook up and the commentary team should have to undergo a mental evaluation.

This wasn't a competitive fight it was one guy beating one lad to a pulp with the other guy getting some good shots back and having he's moments but still being beaten to a pulp

I don't think you have ever seen a fighter beaten to a pulp if you think kell was by the time the fight was ended.

GGG was starting to get on top in the 4th for sure but beaten to a pulp.

    Way OTT

Watch i with HBO commentary. Things were very much going down hill for brook in round 4 and froch was still saying even round, the damage was done in that round when brook came out in round 4 he was just a punch bag

I have watched the HBO broadcast. I am not denying GGG started getting on top in round 4.

My issue is beaten to a pulp comment. That simply didn't happen

Do you think it was a 50-50 round like froch said ? Or even a reasonably close round?

Ya maybe i was a bit over the top but i found the whole thing completely insane and was a obvious attempt to brainwash the fans

Having froch commentating on that fight was a joke to begin with, sky knew he would make a tool of himself

Sky talked up Brook's chances to a) sell PPVs and b) to get people to bet on a Brook win.

I think it's a massive conflict of interests to have a betting company associated with a broadcaster- granted Sky usually present their sports coverage in a balanced way but their boxing output is so biased it's often unwatchable.

Brook had a chance on Saturday but it was slim at best- watching Sky's coverage as a casual you'd have thought it was a 50/50 fight.

Brook and Golovkin are both jab fighters.. there is some grey area there.. and even the great Bernard Hopkins was praising Brook.. so I understand some of it.. he done well for jumping 2 weights.. but call it what it is..

It's gangsta with an a and er..

It reminded me of rte's coverage of Bernard Dunne's fights, the commentary would have him winning the fight right up until the moment he lapsed into a coma from taken to many punches

I don't think the Sky Commentary team was anywhere near as exaggerated as your post.

I have Golovkin winning every round except the 2nd, and even in that round it was Golovkin who was doing the damage.................he broke Brook's eye socket!!! Golovkin knocked Brook down in the 3rd round, but the ref did not call it, watch on your DVR!!!

Brook won first and second round lost the rest. Score cards were right in my opinion. I think he beats canelo at 154 with a on the night weight restriction.

As for the comms this is the worst I've heard for a while Brook would put 2 or 3 punches together and they would act like he had him hurt and he was on jelly legs, GGG could of took anything Brook threw at him.

If Brook was 160 natural he would have the beating of GGG

Eh Day is the master of fleecing the thick public into forking out for Pay per Poos.

The same bull**** flows as follows:
    1. Eh Day will say that 'this is a genuine 50/50 fight' when most are 90/10 at best.
    2. Eh Day's next piece direct out of the Matchroom sewer is 'this is the fight we all want to see' when in reality all he wants is Pay per Poo buys.
    3. Eh Day sells 90% of the tickets to the touts days before the general sale then claims 20,000 tickets sold out in 5 mins.
    4. The same old shyte in farce to farce and David Haye's Toe to Toe.

The only objective is to earn Kell Brook and Matchroom a fortune and they really don't give a **** about the paying public whether it is tickets or Pay per Poo mugs.

Now they move on to Tony Dosh v Pudding Stiverne and on it goes.

The only way to stop this nonsense is for the public to boycott all Pay per Poos.
