Duhaupas went 11 rounds with Wilder, but got stopped on foot not by going down. Later he KO'ed recently Robert Helenius. He has also beaten guys like Teper and Charr. What you expect of him? I'd like to see him face some top guys Joshua, Ortiz or Parker. I think really good test, but those top guys won't fight him after his performances against Wilder and Helenius. I would pick him over David Haye right now. Haye may not have stamina anymore to handle pressure fighter like Duhaupas.
Tough guy that seems to have gained confidence from his showing with Wilder. His offense is limited but he is a solid gate keeper. I could see Haye having big problems with him if he couldn't bomb him out in the first 3 rounds. However Dugaupas isn't skilled enough to beat the big 3, Fury, Wlad and Povetkin. I think Joshua and Parker also take him but I wouldn't be mad if they took that fight at this point in their careers.
Solid gatekeeper. I don't see him beating a top10 contenders but he'd be a tough test for any upcoming prospect.
dulhaupus is a solid gatekeeper fighter nothing spetacular except very good chin. BTW he did not beat teper soon before he fought wilder he fought teper for the european title and lost on points / showing his actual limitations as teper is a basic fighter as well. i have posted before that dulhaupus would make sense for joshua to try and take joshua some rounds. no way i can see dulhapus beating haye/ not sure where you get this notion from. he is not a top 10 fighter on abilty or potential and IMO never will be. he is a solid fighter though / is tough mentally / is big / but has no power punch of note. top 20 is about right /can earn some good money being a solid gatekeeper and score the odd upset win. but a champ/ no chance IMO.
come on Nobody really gives a ef about this guy. Not even the french But yea he s more relevant than Briggs ( like thats something ) and if Haye wants another showcase he could take on Duhaupas instead of a circus show with Briggs
He is a decent gatekeeper, nothing more. I would like to see him against Jennings, Thompson or Miller. Against Price or Chisora, too.
Tony Thompson retired and Duhaupas took his place as the solid contender who lacks talent to win the big final fight. He is B level but deserves oportunities for his effort.
Who? Is he supposed to be something only because Wilder couldn't stop him? Wilder's best opponent to date was rhabdomyolitic when he went the distance with him, and he was previously stopped by world beaters like Demetrice King. Wilder's power is as hype as everything else about him. Only smoke.
Not a bad heavyweight. Limited but he's a big, tough, experienced fighter . His wins over Helenius and Charr and a good showing with Wilder makes him a top 20 guy. A fight between him and Takam seems like a good and obvious match up that I'd like to see.
if Duhaupuss hadn't lost to Teper there's no way the Burger Squad Team would have chosen him for their Deonkey... they saw a guy easy to hit with a decent record of wins over mostly cab drivers from Bosnia... but Duhaupuss still pounded on Deonkeys ugly mug and gave him a Pizza Face! lol
Not excited, but always liked him even before the Wilder bout. He's a warrior. The decision against Teper was questionable. I scored it a draw at the time. He was a solid Euro-level fighter and I think he could give the most heavyweights a good and solid fight. He won't ever take a big title, but could be used as a huge step up for contenders.
