If Wilder retires tomorrow, he's regarded as a fraud with a built up record who never fought anybody. If he actually continues this fraudulent career, he will get starched if and when he actually does face a decent fighter.

Beat Harold Sconiers too, but tasted canvas hard, too, even worse than the Nichols KD. Not a good sign

Wilder has lost that new car smell, and many in boxing felt he was fishy. Now he's a belt milker, steering clear of anyone in the top ten as champion. I highly doubt he wants to fight Povetkin, but if he wants to get credit from boxing fans, he should.

The Povetkin fight would have proved a lot...

Povetkin is a really decent fighter for me, but its now Povetkin vs Stiverne for the #1 contender

Personally I have seen some bits in Wilder that I like and feel he has got stronger recently, no idea how strong his chin is, I have never seen anyone land a real shot on him

But Wilder vs Joshua - Wilder probably wins
Wilder vs Fury - Fury Probably wins
Joshua vs Fury - Joshua Probably wins

Throw (and bare with me on this) David Haye into the mix and its a really lacking but exciting heavyweight division.

None of these could go 2 rounds with Lennox/Tyson but all the fights are tough to call because every fighter has significant weakness' and very good strengths

I don't know, for me despite the lack of a great heavyweight I'm still loving the journey, I've followed Joshua since attending his 1st Pro fight and seeing him live at the Olympics, he has a lot to improve on but seems to have the right attitude to do so... Fingers crossed for the big man!

There is a large amount of low IQ, low information boxing followers from the USA who support anything American no matter how clearly fraudulent it is...

    Wilder is that fraud.

As the UK used to have a similar HW fraud called Audly Harrison who sucked off £1 million from the BBC, and then lost the first fight he had against someone who did not take a dive.

The USA has their own fraud today- supported by the WBC which wants to keep its belts in the USA.

Do not hold your breath, because it does not happen.

Wilder is still useful for at least another 18 months to the WBC, or until a better American HW comes along and the WBC wants to replace him.

Joshua bounces Wilder all over the place and stops Wilder inside 3.

Man I hope they don't deny us that fight! You not buying his message to Eddie Hearn about fighting Joshua "now/sooner rather than later"? LOL I like that "bouncing him all over the place!" LOL

I do not buy it based on historical evidence of Wilder's choice of fights. He has had 4 fights as champion now over the course of 2 years and not fought one single serious challenger.

I also know Wilder's management does not believe he is elite and see him as a cash cow to milk against sub par opponents paid to take the dive, like all of his last 4 opponents.

Joshua would bounce him all over the ring. I know it because I know how bad Wilder is. But we will probably not get to see it enjoy watching it back over and over and over again.

Also the WBC HW belt is now an American belt. They will not let him face a serious contender unless they are American and therefore can be the American HW champion.
