I don't see any current heavyweight reigning more than 1 or 2 title defences. Imo the only guys capable are at light heavyweight (Jones and Cormier).

Saw the Miocic - Overeem fight and to say the least it was unimpressive. Miocic dropped once and stunned another time, Overeem cannot to a punch whatsoever.

I just watched the fight in it's entirety, and one thing I can say that it looked very weird. Overeem fought completely different to how I have watched him since his Pride days. He was running too much, barely throwing shots, completely telegraphing his overhand left, and still managed to hurt Miocic a few times. Okay I'll say it, it look to me like he took a dive.

Have you watched Overeems last 2-3 fights? He ran in the same way in each of them , and fought with a similar approach.

Stipe would lose to JDS again and probably Cain. I think JDS is going to be our new HW champion again very soon.

Stipe Miocic is the second coming of Mirko Cro Cop, truly a godly performance.

Stipe Miocic is a well rounded Cro Cop with wrestling pedigree.

    Discuss.

He's nothing like Cro Cop apart from their both being Croatian, and that's not an insult because he's better in some ways... Stipe has better wrestling, confidence and doesn't panic as easily.

Looks that way! He seems to be hitting his prime now. VERY good work ethic and skills to go with it. I said it before the Werdum fight.. he's going to be HW champ for a long time.

    not quite!

I do think if Cain ever get healthy that could go either way but Miocic is on such a role and really coming into his own confidence wise, I would have to favor him.

    Awesome call.

Stipe seems like a more polished version of Cain Velasquez, or maybe just a more prime version of CV.

He seems sure to break the 2 defence curse, but then again so has everyone so far.

I'd quite like to see him rematch Struve just to right that wrong as well.
